They already shipped according to them on the 10th and that message is vague in the sense that the cause for the delays was trying to get them finished to the best way they could. They stated they should have them towards the end of December.

I don't understand your hatred in this post they looked pretty good in the last pics posted so we shall see what we get when they show up... well I will, doesnt sound like you ordered this at all.

I'd be worried. People weren't exactly thrilled with the dark, non-reflective finish in the finished prototype yet he did say they were being packed for shipping on 10-26. What I don't understand is his post on Nov 7th:

"Sorry for the late shipping on this guys, totally my fault. The delay rests with me trying to get this as nice as humanly possible.

Once I saw that Sideshow painted their Endoskeleton Maquette flat silver I was like WTF?"

First off, WTF does that mean exactly? Did he halt shipment, experiment with a glossier finish, then order a completely new refinish on all pieces? I find his vagueness and ambiguity infuriating. Coupled with no progress pics, I'd speculate that trouble in the paint department is brewing overseas. I don't know know when that newsletter update coincides with his Nov 7th post but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed 'til sometime in 2017.

Thank you, I will start worrying now.
If anyone else has some helpful advice, please let me know ASAP.
I really hope someone can chime in and tell me not to worry, that would put me at ease.
Until then, I will worry.

You shouldn't worry too much.

In the end, you being in this hobby should know there has been, are, and will be *******s, just like grails...and everything in between. Worst case for the consumer you wasted a few hundred bucks and learned a lesson. The people putting out the product on the other hand, while gained initial money through POs, they might lose out more based on the lesson the consumers learned.

Im am sure you have spent more on less.

Best case...it is what you want and more.

But I too had the same sort of thoughts as RoboPred.
Why would he say WTF?
Why does SS release have to do with CC shipping?
etc etc
But I never wanted to get into it due to not even buying the piece.

I cancelled mine a couple of days ago. In the end, I still had no clear indication of what I will receive in hand, and the price shipped to Australia was too much of a gamble for me to take a chance on something I may not even like. The only pictures that I did see of this did not thrill me unfortunately. For those who are still waiting to receive theirs, I hope it turns out great! I'll have no regrets either way. Happy to wait and see what Sideshow come up with for their T2 piece.

I should be able to see the in hand pics tomorrow. Personally no love to this piece at all, but will post pics for u guys once I see them.

Just saw the in hand pics. The details are soft and the paint is pretty much like their endoskull. I was told it's light and the gun is just a big chunk of hallow plastic.

A few pics from two/or three individuals.
They all have broken head issues.

I hope this isn't an issue with the head not being properly supported in the box. Don't want this to be a widespread problem, especially after all the delays.

Glad I passed on this piece. Hopefully the broken neck is just a fluke and others are arriving safely but aside from that, the detail and paint are atrocious. Looks like the black paint crept outside of the lines above his eye and they smudged it off with a finger leaving a blotch around the crevices.

Looks good in the last pic. The up close pics aren't flattering though; it's no Prime 1 piece.

Neca/McFarlane skeletons have better detailing than this. hands are the worst.

complex things, like terminator skeletons, should be assembled from separate parts, not sculpted as one piece.
