The great thing about this piece is that it's a film prop AND it can pass as a work of art/sculpture. If you have this in your house displayed properly, even people who don't realize it's from Stargate, would think it's some awesome piece of Egyptian art. I love the movie, but not enough to buy one of these-I don't have any space to display it as well. Big congrats to all those who get it-looks awesome.

think they are hammering out the details on that, Paul mentioned in another forum they are planning on shipping it in two or three separate boxes to help keep the cost down.

Even so, yeah shipping is going to be interesting. He said it's 65 inches from base to the tips of the ears.

Counting down until I can get my pre-order in, this thing will be amazing.

I really love the look of Horus, but if I can only get one of these replicas I would choose Anubis personally.

Thing for me is, there was only one Anubis mask in the movie. The other guards had the Horus mask.

Sort of feels like Vader's mask compared to a Stormtrooper. :/

I would love to get one of each though... hmm.. maybe I could do some rearranging in the display room. >. <

Same thoughts here...the Horus head is more elegant but the Anubis more imposing and 'boss'.

Would also like to get both ideally...but $$$ especially outside of the US.

I'm afraid to see what the shipping will cost for this monster of a piece.

Going to see how it goes with Anubis. I would love to get Horus too, imagine having these things on either side of a doorway standing guard.

I would love to get this, but too many other items on pre order and just saw the new P2 predator bust previewed so will need to wait and see on that too. Congrats to those who are getting it.
