Just thought I would post to let you guys know how things have been going. I am happy to report that I am still smoke free. I am starting to really notice that I don't even crave one as much anymore. Well I just thought I would keep you informed.

Nope! I went out to happy hour on Friday with people from work. I had like 3 people smoking right in front of me. I didn't want nothing to do with it. Vader I don't know how much you know about me but I will say this. I lost my father to lung cancer in July. I won't put my family through that. Not now. Not just because I want something. It gets easier every day. I thank you as well for your support.

both my parents smoke and have since before i was born. they still smoke in the house too....craziness....i wish they would see what you see, that what they are doing is affecting more than just themselves.

Keep up the clean living! Have you been able to smell things any better? I smoked for about ten years, but my sense of smell never really returned. My fiance loves candles (damn dustmakers, getting dust all over my toys...) and I can't smell any of those froo-froo things when she burns them. I guess it will come in handy changing diapers sometime in the future!

Funny story about that and it just happened today so I shall share. I got to work in the morning. Started to power up my computer and I noticed a strange odor. No one is around when I get to work so I didn't mind being nosey. I could swear that I smelled soap. I looked over my cubicle and still smelled it. Hmmm.... I said very odd indead. The hallway smelled like it too. Then I realized that it was me. LOL! I had just taken a shower before I go to work like I always do. Sure enough I smelled clean LOL! I called my wife and she started to laugh so hard. She then called me an ass. So I guess in short. Yes I guess I can smell things better. Now I just hope no one farts around me. I don't want to find out what I have been missing the past 10 or so years.

Cheers on the sense of smell! That story was way too funny! Working with kids with disabilities, sometimes my lack of smell is an asset!
