I met one big goal I even forgot I made but I thought I would share it. I told my wife when the next heroes episode came on I would be a non smoker. That was a while ago. I did it though. I am so happy that I was able to do this. I will keep posting about it until it is out of my life. Unfortunatley I still want one from time to time.

Keep it up! And pixletwin is right. I quit twice previously for one year and started back up again so it's always there. I think two years may be the key. After two plus years being smoke free I actually really hate it right now and can't stand to be with someone that's smoking or smells like smoke. It's amazing, I feel like such a hypocrite.

I will certainly keep that in mind. Luckily I work in a pretty stressful environment. Today is a pretty bad day. I still don't want one. I am starting to convince myself just the same. That I hate them. Who knows. I just know that I am done for good. I will keep everyone updated. I have noticed my lungs feeling weird as of recent. Like when you are out of breath in cold weather. I wonder if its because they are getting more oxygen? I am also coughing up all types of fun goodness.

LOL! I just logged on tonight. I got an email from Sideshow informing me they have some cigarette men laying around from X-Files. LOL! Today marks a week. Isn't that irony?

Well I am going to bed. Tonight has been wonderful. I have even noticed a smell difference when I come home from work. We have a finished basement. I would never keep collectibles down there because I would smoke. I am now about to change that and move my friends down to my neck of the woods. I can't wait to see my friends while I watch movies on the big screen! How cool!

Same tonight guys! Smooth sailing. This medicine either works really well or I was just really ready to quit. I think it is a little of both. I have decided to stop posting about the topic. I will only post in this thread if people want help quiting or if I start up again. I guess I shouldn't waste anymore space. LOL! I will still post if I get any urges like last Saturday! Thanks for listening guys. Anyone else that wants to quit? I would say you have come to the right thread. Now is a good time to start.

what medicine they got ya on? Welbutrin worked really well for me.

Nope! I refuse to take Antidepressant meds! They are not for me. I have been taking Chantix.

Well guys just an update. Tonight is another bad night. I thought that it was all over. I thought I was free! I am not. I have been on the boards for a while. While I was on them in the past I would smoke my cigs and enjoy it. Now I have no Cigs! I still won't smoke one. Just for science purposes I thought I would create this post my urge to smoke tonight is an 8 out of 10. In all fairness I am drunk again. I will still record this however. It may help the next person. I will still not smoke. I am in pain but I will not give in. EVER!!!
