That's the thing that gets me too...a part of me wants to wait for later production pieces like with Arnie, but the other says I shouldn't cos of possible appreciation on him. =/

I doubt he will appreciate in value honestly. CM pieces costs so much already that only a few people are crazy enough to buy them. Plus with an ES of 1000 at $1750...he will be around for a while. Also, none of the others have appreciated either.

The reason I want to jump right in is because I have trouble waiting. I want Sparrow so bad. I have been assured by most CM owners on the SF that this one will most likely come out perfect since this is their 3rd go at a human. I don't think that they are changing Aragorn either. What you see is what you get with him.

This looks ZERO like Depp to me. The CM is perfect IMO. Has nothing to do with price or that I like CM's. I just think the CM looks exactly like Depp.

Have to agree.That Sparrow is terrible.How anyone can say that is better than the CM one is beyond me.Each to their own though.If I win the lottery,I will be plumping for Mr CM Sparrow!!

I think all 3 look equally like him/not like him. Just in dif. ways. In the end I like the Medi one best, but all 3 are missing things, and have little off's. The CM one is just bigger, I wouldn't say BETTER though.

I was thinking about that but I will have trouble waiting. This will be CM's 3rd human statue and I really think that they can nail this one on the first round....hopefully. I have not fully decided but this is my dream piece so I want it to be perfect.

Sir you are absolutely correct. I am already scheming ways to get my grubby little hands on an Indy CM. However, Jack will always come first.
