Yeah, If I pick up a hs, it's definitely getting a repaint on the eye brows and hair with a lighter color.

Here's someone I put together and posted earlier in the thread. I put a new background on him. I'd like to grow his hair a bit longer as well but haven't gotten around to it yet. I think his face looks like Johnny Weismuller (Tarzan from the 30's and 40's) if his hair is longer...what do you think? Does he look like him?

To be honest, I have never seen it but by judging on a few images on Google I can definitely see why you choose that Head Sculpt. It has something about it.

This is the 1/8 scale Aurora model that I based my dio off of. They haven't made a 1/6 scale Tarzan of Johnny Weismuller that I'm aware of. This is the only thing close to his resemblance. I suppose I could get Peter to sculpt one, but I keep seeing a resemblance with the one I have. His hair really s/b a bit longer on the sides...oh well, some day. I like the fact that I can pose him anyway I want (compared to the Aurora models, where you don't have a choice).

Btw, I really like the detail that you put with your James Deans...you have him nailed down, just like DA has John Wayne locked. I really enjoy seeing all the pics...keep up the great work!

Totally agree with that! Maybe just re-sculpt the hair and see how it looks. Thanks a lot. I really need to start on a East Of Eden version of James Dean! Yeah, I think DA has got John Wayne down to a tee. But it definitely looks like you have the most of the classic actor figures I think for sure right?

Geronimo, I think with a longer hair sculpt on your Tarzan and you have a winner. He looks to clean cut with the current hair. I love those old Tarzan movies and use to watch them all the time when I was a kid. I haven't seen one in over 30 years, but lots of great memories watching those at grandma & grandpa's house.

I think you are right, DA...he looks like he just stepped out of a barber shop. I have to be careful how I sculpt it though, so I'm going to take my time on him. Funny, he's been like this for a while. I've kinda gotten used to him...
