Yeah, between a scratched and blemished base and some paint issues on the statue itself, he's going back.
SS never got back to me on Friday, I will follow up tomorrow.
Problems or not, I don't see how any Marvel fan can be w/o this.
Although the same could be said for the IM RG Comiquette and Doom and I own neither....

The single girls are a nice touch, ditto the BBQ chicken and beers, but it's a lot more important that you leave the CIM comiquette, fully boxed, in clear sight, with your door wide open and everyone [else] out of sight

Yes I sold IM comiquette, ever since I got him from sideshow it never felt like it was Ironman to me. I mean it was a great sculpt it looked nice but it didnt fit in with who I felt Ironman really was. I never read a comic with Ironman wearing that suit. I grew up with this version of Ironman and collected comics from the mid 70's to the late 80's. The last Ironman comic I bought was #172 (60 cent cover). Every Avengers comic I got has him wearing this suit. So this is my Ironman.
IM comiquette was actually boring for me and I had contemplated selling him a few months after I got him in 2006. But since there wasnt any representation I could use to replace him he stayed in my collection till now.

I can't catch a break on the QC from Sideshow, this one was even "inspected" again. It is hard to capture all the issues on camera effectively because the flaws are more noticeable in person. Some are minor and if it were one or two small things, I could live with it, but it all adds up on this one for me.
Empty helmet: Divot painted over, scrape on the bottom of helmet (not a big deal since you can't see it but worth noting) and a partial fingerprint in the paint above the left ear (couldn't get a good picture of that).
Arm that holds helmet: Spots in the gold paint that were not painted or rubbed off while still wet.
Unmasked head: OK other than a small chip along the bottom of it
Relaxed Arm: Fingers not fully painted, rough silver with no red overcoat of paint.
