Super Freak
James,
Sorry to hear that you are having so much difficulties with the 1:1 endo. I was hoping that I was the only unlucky soul dealing with this piece. Hopefully the 3rd time will be a charm (if Sideshow is willing to work with your LCS). On my 1st endo, I had the same issue with the eyes. After some thorough troubleshooting with a voltmeter, I found a broken connection at the knee joint. I basically tested all the connecting points starting at the base and working on up.
The damages were intentional, as least that was what I was told. The degree of damage applied to each starburst was left up to the person painting the piece. The crack, on the other hand, is just terrible. Was it sent to you that way or was it caused by installation as a result of fitment issues? My 2nd replacement piece had fitmen issues and a chuck of the polystone actually broken off after installation. The trick, advised by Sideshow, is to pull the left leg up half way out when installing the hip and right leg. It worked really good and made the installation a breeze on my 3rd endo.
Update us on the situation. Hopefully you will not have to return this for a refund.
