Clone Troopers

Anyone have good reference photos of the different paint jobs they had on the ROTS Clones? I am going to try and repaint a Medicom Clone. No resculping just a repaint.

I have not decided on which I am going to do yet.

Also to the great customizers here what kind of paint should I use.

Mines due tomorrow then shipping mine off to DarkArist (Josh2) for him to turn it into a 501st.

I use Model Master Acryl paints and Polly Scale (but don't mix the 2 brands together to get a certain color). You can thin them down for airbrushing or hand brush washing. I just 'dirtied' mine up a bit:

Yeah, someone elses work. I just sent Josh the pic as a base to start from. I want something similar and I believe this was done by someone overseas

I thought about it but I prefer 501st troopers.

I think even if medicom did a plain white ep2 clone i'd be all over it.(lots of colors as well for those guys even some strange ones.But even just white i love the helmet design.(plus now that we get jango we always got an alternate clone head ****in sweet)

The custom paint jobs on the clones really make these for me, they pop with the added color and accessories. The plain white only works for the stormtroopers imo.

I have no customization skills, so if Medicom released one that looked like that I would be all over it.

Ok my first thought wasthe 501st but here is a question, do they all have the stripes on the arms and legs? I seem to find conflicting pictures, hell even in one screen capture one seems to have the stripes and one doesn't.

I thought about getting a MediCom Clone and having Josh repaint it but cash is holding me back. Although if they make a Commander Cody, I'd gladly plunk down the change to get a couple of MediCom Clones and get them repainted into Utapaun Clones to flank him.
