ok, you totally stole my idea of having clovey fight my ultimate godzilla which i've never mentioned to anyone.
you stand accused of pilfering awesome ideas through telepathy.

anyway, is that clovey resin kit worth having? i keep seeing it pop up on ebay.

I have also just telepahically downloaded your bank account number. My brain is now transferri...done. Thanks, dude. Ka-ching.

Mwaahaha.

So I like the little resin kit. You can see in this video that it's detailed nicely (though of course, not to the extent of the big toy). It would work nicely on a small base of wrecked buildings (I think the guy who makes them was offering a base at one point too). I put mine on a display of San Fran (ebay has those for a few cities -- maybe yours -- look up: aquarium fiberoptic). You can see the size of the Clover in my vid -- it just depends on whether or not you wanna spend the money on something that's just over 3 inches tall.

Jesus that monster looks stupid. That's one of those designs that doesn't look well in bright light. It needs darkness and shadows to hide the fact that it looks completely ridiculous.

yeah, for the $$ those kits go for, they should be bigger. then again, i have no idea how much it costs to produce resin garage kits.

so, what should a giant monster look like? a lizard? a gorilla? you tell me.
taking existing creatures and making them huge was fine in the 1950s. i'd rather see original ideas in my monster movies.
i like what neville page did with the design. he started from scratch and built it upon plausible elements to make something that hasn't been done before.

IMO NO movie monster/creature is stupid looking. The design and creativity put in to all of them is what makes them special and unique.:D

Lets be honest, the design is a bit ho-hum...fairplay they strove to come up with something unique, and on that score, alone they succeeded however, the end result is neither memorable OR iconic.
When it comes to Kaiju or giant mecha designs, the Japanese pish all over designs like this. I'd take 1950's GZ over this everytime... :monkey1

I think a monster SHOULD look somewhat ridiculous...otherwise, there's nothing really monstrous or alien or freaky or scary about it. I think my favorite design is Legion from the Gamera series. There's nothing humanoid about it...and it looks like it came through outer space by way of hell.

I GOT IT!

after a year! A ^^^^ING YEAR!
good christ.

man, this thing has more articulation than i know what to do with...

there's already like a bajillion pics on here, just buy it. it's worth every penny.

No-one has done any comparison pics with any other figures, though. Well, except for the Ultimate Godzilla comparison, but let's be honest: who has that one?

So, care to oblige with that? :D Any figure will do, really. :)

Ok...I kinda want this now. But i'll wait for the right offer. I dont think its worth 100....40-70 yes....
