Mine arrived and looks great - 124/200 (minus the missing emblems).
No funny business with the base and the paint apps are solid.
The hooded portrait is the way to go.

Sucks about the missing emblems, maybe SS can address that.

My emblems are missing as well...very disappointing, but I can't bring myself to return it. It's still a beautiful piece.

My base looks the same...

Began the return process today by speaking with customer service and emailing pics detailing my complaints.

Didn't mention this problem before, but the base on mine is lopsided.

Def underrated, yeah the guards are missing the emblems but it is a very impressive dio!

The figures are really well done on this, but the base and the throne should be at least 3 to 4 times bigger, as in twice as wide and twice as tall. The throne is so small it looks like Cobra Commander would hit his head on the fangs of the throne. I have this, but I'm thinking of sending it back. minor paint chips, some hairline cracks in the base, and the missing emblems, along with the fact that the throne looks like a bargain basement version has me very disappointed. In the cartoon and comic, Cobra Commander's throne was always bigger than this. Sometimes it was maybe 15 feet tall, and the throne base was really big and grand, too. He was such a grandiose character. It is hard to see him even accepting a throne this small. He would probably execute the people who built it for him, lol.

Has there ever been a CG released without the emblems? Supertard question I'm sure...but like is there even a remote chance that this mistake could be tied into a reference somewhere for a cobraless logo?

not that I have seen, but they did show the proto with emblems and the box has the emblems on the pic as well

I have seen a Tomax and Xamot in the package without the Cobra Emblems once, but that was a manufacturing error.

My Exclusive is boxed up and ready for return. I'm getting a full refund...just need to print the shipping label and drop it off at FedEx. That'll cover the CC PF Exclusive that I originally wasn't going to get. No complaints with that trade off, or with SSC's always excellent customer service.

There was no mention of possibly replacing the Crimson Guards, so I wouldn't hold my breath on wondering SSC has a fix in the works.

The Cobra Commander statue was the highlight of this piece. If they ever do one of him in the 1:5 Statue line, I hope it'll closely resemble the Dio version.

I have this along with the 12" on throne. The scales are so very different. The 12" throne accessory is almost too large, as the figure's feet don't really touch the base if he is seated fully in it. The diorama throne seems like it needed to be about 20-40% bigger. The missing emblems on the CG's is also bothering me. I have 2 of the 12" CG's ordered to go with that throne, so I may just settle for that display and return the diorama.

I was told that Sideshow will be issuing decals for the Crimson Guards. I asked if they would be like model decals or adhesive backed. His answer was like a model, not adhesive.

That's cool I haven't heard anything yet from them, but I will gladly take the decals.

Did you report your missing emblems? If so, have you heard anything back form them yet? I'm leaning on you for the official report on how SSC is going to handle this situation.

I did email them about it, but no response other than they are looking into the problem. I will post if I hear anything
