This is my first GI JOE diorama until itself and I am not counting the Recon @ Waypoint, the COBRA Throne, & the Desert Diorama to use w/ Dusty (which I own all three), but I passed on the ZARTAN VS. FLINT diorama too yet I decided to get the COBRA Commander Dio.

Switch out heads, switch out hands...just make ____in 1:6 fig already, these statues are useless.

Its as if they had already made three way into development saw the first two tanked and said, ____ we gotta sweeten the deal here or we will end up eating all three

easy pass
:lol:lol:lol

i know. WTF?? all these switch out parts? next they'll add limited articulation and some mixed media while the rest of us are still waiting for a 1/6 destro and zartan.

Looks great, but....I already have the same throne, but bigger. I can wait for CG's. Standard Cobra Troops, Officers, & Snipers work just fine in the meantime. One thing that bugs me is the CG's are standing a little too close to CC. They need to be another step down IMHO.

The vectors seem to be a good choice for CG's, I believe they could be broken down and fit into their briefcases when in disguise.

Well, the EX is on Low Quantity Alert status now, despite the NRD. Perhaps Sideshow has found the sweet spot edition size-wise for these Joe dios. ES of 450 was obviously too much for the Snake Eyes vs. Red Ninjas dio. 200 or lower looks to be the right number.

I think Dio's in genergal should be in that 200-500 ES for any of them. Its just a niche market for any line really including SW so I think they're going lower on this and will use it as a base along with the others. As far as the ES being raised well having gotten a chance to know some of those folks I don't think they just go oh lets raise it cause we can.

Perhaps you've missed all the "We underestimated demand on this piece" statements or are, perhaps, pulling an :ignore:?

Damn, couldn't resist when I saw that edition size. Pre-ordered!

I like to think I'll be able to stop at the first three...

Nah, I've seen them. I'm not a fan mind you of raising the ES after its announced. I just don't think its done just because is what I'm saying.

:lol That is good.

I'm still torn on wether to get this or not. I've got just under $300 RP saved up and if Sideshow pulls some BS on the Jason PF, I'd probably use them on this instead. But Jason is my #1 priority right now and if I can get him for practically free, then that is even better. But if I have to pay full price for him, then so be it. Getting this for practically free wouldn't be a too bad of a back up prize.

:cuckoo: Save the $$$ for the 1:6 figures and the RPs for Jason.

I just noticed that you have to put a deposit on this? When did they start that?
Anyway smartest thing they have done IMO, to many people order and cancel when they have no intention of buying it, shoppers remorse

They started doing that about a month ago. There is a big whine thread in the marvel section of course. 1/6 figures do not have a NRD.
