Great Dio.......just dont like the weapon the crimson guards are holding...I rather see the crimson guards with the original weapon with the bayonet from 1985.

You're right. There are two different masks/helmets.

Is this one from a 90's version of the character, a 25th anniversary update, or something entirely new from SSC? Either way the classic version is much more appealing.

Glancing over the pics quickly, I didn't even notice the two different helmets.

The swappable parts are great. Three different masks? Wow! I only expected two, so the modern one is the 'real' bonus one. And the sword and pistol are also great choices. Still not enough to get me to buy this (especially with the NRD) but I'm hoping we get a future Cobra Commander and Crimson Guards very similar to what we are seeing here.

I agree. Pretty good value here, just not good enough for me.

The sword (more like a cutlass) seems to be a weird choice, though. Old school Marvel RAH and cartoon fans, is there any precedent for this? I can't remember any instance from the old Marvel comics where Cobra Commander is holding a sword.

I don't recall him wielding a sword before Resolute. So its nice that he still has the Cobra scepter for those who want to keep it classic.

The dio looks really damn cool. I just dont have the room and staying away from Dio's since that eats up the cost for 2-3 figures.

Martial Artists aside, the only one I remember having a sword was the IG Destro.
