i just said i had flint on pre-order

duke and firefly i'll prob. grab up from alter ego.

and shhh bout naboo.

You won't have an issue picking any of the previously released figs with the exception of SE..... The EX is far from a must have for him though, so that's a good thing. I think a couple have sold in the commerce section for around 110 in the past month or so.

This was said in the gohastings thread in the Star Wars forum, but I'll repeat it here in case any of your don't visit that:

If anyone gets their Amazon order cancelled, I implore you to leave negative feedback for gohastings. It would be far from the first time that they have pulled crap like that, and it's long past time for them to suffer for it. A whole bunch of negative feedback at once would certainly hurt.

meh 1000% percent to your comment. I've had a couple imperfect gohastings experiences, but SAVING 7O% on a toy I can put up with A LOT. A few "oops we ran out" occurances doesn't bother me. They offer these from rbrick and mortar stores, its a bit hard to centralize an inventory like that. Would you rather gohastings stopped offering these type of deals?

have to disagree. the 5 or 6 times they've come through for me outweighs the 2 times they haven't. its not like they steal your money. what do you lose about 5 minutes of your time and slight disappointment? you'd rather have never been offered the deal to begin with?

Exactly. They sell these things at rock bottom prices so many of the purchases I've made (or even considered making) through them fall outside of my normal collecting habits. 26 bucks for a second trooper to either display or part out is a no brainer, but I never depended upon Hastings to blow these figures out in order for me to get my hands on the figure.... If my order goes through with no issues I scored one hell of a deal, if not I'm no worse the wear for it.....Easy come, easy go.....

I just think if they can't count how many figures they have then they shouldn't be selling them. If you have 10 figures, indicate you have 10 figures to sell. Just don't keep taking more and more orders. I mean how you'd you feel if Sideshow did that? "Oh, sorry, no Grail item for you, we oversold by 1,000." If they can offer deals like these, but actually know how many they have, then that is OK. But if they can't even keep track of how many they have, then they shouldn't bother.

Nobody else is offering these at $27. I bought both of mine at full price when they first came out. I'm ONLY ordering from them for the deal. If they can't fulfill their orders, then don't accept them. Is that so hard?

I dunno Butt... I see your point but the same can be said for us as consumers. If we know they have these issues and it bothers us then we simply should not order from them.... I mean, they're not forcing you to order

How many stores do they have nationally? Then add the ecommerce. I've seen real-time inventory fail more times than it's worked. Even still, it doesn't account for someone walking around the store with the item in their hands/basket or online orders processing credit cards, etc. So yes, it's rather hard/complex. Besides, I'm willing to bet that orders are fulfilled more often than not.
