I don't understand why you guys want to get personal. Sorry your college teams and conferences aren't very good :dunno

Depends on whos playing. LSU vs Bama was good.

Watching a 6-3 game between New Mexico State and Southwest Colorado Vo-Tech would not.

I like shootouts myself.

I completely understand preferring a high scoring vs. low scoring game, but theJosh said that he would prefer a blowout win to a competitive, low scoring game in the national title game. Of course, I enjoy seeing my team blow out opponents in that situation, but in a general sense, that's just not what most enjoy about sports.

That's where you're wrong. There are other good teams and conferences outside of the SEC.
Based on who has won the championship for the past several years, the evidence suggests that the best of the rest just aren't as good as the best of the SEC. I think there are some teams that can compete with the SEC from year to year, but on the whole, there is simply no comparison with any other conference. That's not arrogance. That's not subjectivity. That's the objective evidence.

Thing is if I'm gonna get bored I'd rather it be with scoring all over the place which is less likely to do so than the snoozer LSU/Bama put up earlier.

You can be arrogant even if you're winning all the time. I agree the SEC has some of the best teams in the country but if you ask most of them they're the only ones playing "amazing" football.

I could stereotype Californians in a similar way, but I guess "those of us in the south" were raised not to be so judgmental of other people.

The south isn't judgemental? :lol Come on now.

Yeah you prefer to keep trying to live below sea level and wonder why your city flooded.

The sad thing is when you have to use personal attacks, you know you have lost the argument.

Wouldn't a personal attack include someones name? To bad I haven't said anything about southern intelligence since there is so much ammo. :lol

Nope, it can be inferred. I could tell a lame joke too, but I know you are only shooting blanks. :)

No more so than anywhere else. My post before was tongue-in-cheek, because I realize how ridiculous it is to engage in that kind of overly judgmental, stereotypical behavior.

I guess it makes more sense to keep building houses out in the middle of dry-ass, wooded areas? Or to be living beyond your means for so long that your debt situation becomes a national punchline? Or to think that someone is a capable governor because he beat up Predator? I wouldn't be hurling stones is all I'm saying.
