Great game. Again, not much defense. Football teams just don't value the kicking game enough. If I were recruiting players, I would be scouring the soccer and rugby fields of Europe, Latin America, and Africa to get the best damn kicker I could find.

Not sure how you come up with that considering the points both offenses are averaging. How'd Oregon do against LSU again?
He said this will show you what your up against. Well based on game one it was proof if you could score double digits you would win. Pretty simple. What does Oregon have to do with it?

I did forget one thing they can watch and see the dirty play they have to deal with.

Because he's talking about Mizzu playing them in the SEC. Double digits isn't going to win you the game against them because they will put up just as many. Oregon is an example of that.

But then using the MNC is not a good example of playing in SEC. So based on using that game as an example of playing in the SEC I stand 100% behind my statement.

Stop looking outside what the equation.:slap

I don't even know what this means.

If he watches the game and it's a defensive game its food for thought about what it would take to compete, if he watches the game and it's an offensive game it's food for thought about what it would take to compete. Either way it's a harsh look into what the program will be up against in the years to come just in the west side of the SEC.

Oh, I know what MU is up against. The SEC brings good teams to the table but its not like they played against nobodies in the Big 12 either. I do think on the offensive side of the ball MU can do just fine but does need to get more aggressive on D. I think after a couple of years of getting more SEC styled players in MU can do quite well.

In my bowl pick'em I choose a 6-3 score as the tie breaker. I don't really think it will be that bad but I really don't care to see the game. I'll get a chance to see Alabama next year in person when they come to Columbia, Mo and play MU. As I've said before I'm excited about joining the SEC because of the love the conference gets, and maybe if MU keeps getting better as they've shown the last few years we'll finally get some love.

What as long as they can score double digits they will win?

They'll get a look at the stout defenses they'll be facing. And that's IF they can score double digits against these two defenses.

I fell asleep on the first game :monkey1

I know what you mean. I fell asleep during tOSU's bowl game too.

It is a good example of the types of defenses Mizzou will be facing in the SEC.

Your hatred and loathing of the SEC is just as bad as the SEC bandwagon nuthuggers.:slap

Josh, I don't think this will be a repeat of the 9-6 game. Obviously, it's not going to be a 38-35 affair but it might be interesting to watch.

I'm predicting Alabama over LSU 21-16.

Can I ask that one day you stop twisting that knife in my back?:lol

I hope it helps Mizzou too. The BEST conference can always use more good teams to beat up the Big 10 in bowl games.:lol
