I'll be blunt, if he was in a order 66 pose with an ex of his unhelmeted head this would be an instant order. Problem is he is in an action pose and that not really what the character is known for.

I think it also ensures a second Rex PF in an action pose, with his Phase II helmet. If you tie those two together in good action poses, it'd be a much better display...

Agreed, those two are made for each other. Well, unless they produce an CW Obi-Wan, but I don't see that happening anytime soon (although there have been rumours, and even some sketches).

Sideshow just made one of their biggest mistakes in recent history by not including a Phase II helmet for Rex. Sigh... /facepalm

Played out or not, I've been anticipating a Sideshow Cody PF for years and was planning on it being a "definitive" PT piece in my collection. As it stands now, I'll just settle for the 1/6th figure.

Sideshow just made one of their biggest mistakes in recent history by not including a Phase II helmet for Rex. Sigh... /facepalm

Rex's Phase 2 armor had a lot of different details as well as a completely different pauldron so it wouldn't have been that simple and it would've required everything to have been removable. I said in one of the Rex threads but could see them giving him a "Deadpool PF treatment" by just repainting the original PF and giving him the new helmet/pauldron/pistols in his hands.

In the Prequels no, but in games and clone wars yes I believe so. It's a pretty standard rifle for the clones.

edit: nevermind he might have actually used it in the movies.

I realize he's posed a little different, but he's just too close to looking like a painted up clone sans the helmet. SS could have gone in another direction to differentiate him a bit from the others, but I feel they took the easy way out.

I like the fact that he doesn't differentiate from the rest of the clones. They are all alike - clones, and it makes sense to see him like any other clone. I think that adds an important dimension to this piece.

edit: apparently cody starts off the utupau invasion with that blaster.

He does differentiate with the colors, stripes, visor and antenna >< Also he has a jetpack which he never seems to use (in movies at least, never seen clone wars).

Sure, but those are just visuals identifiers due to his rank. When push comes to shove, he is just a clone - like any other clone.

Actually even personality wise he was different, and supposed to be more independent then the normal rank of file clone due to some special training and somesuch.
