No Boromir isn't either. Admittedly Pippin is still a fellowship statue, but I am one of those who thinks it is disappointing that he wasn't in fellowship gear. Even though he's there, the main point is he just doesn't blend in IMO.

Ture, the SSW Pippin statue being in armour would be the extreme case, but if one was to draw a very hard line, that would make the SSW Legolas and Gimli on Arod not considered good enough to class them as fellowship members. But to me, that statue fits just fine and I don't really have a problem with Pippin either.
However, if we extend this to the PF's, then we are really limiting the possible options for the characters, making a Sam, Merry and Pippin PF's even less like to sell, unless the ES really is low.

To me a Fellowship character is one which appeared in the first movie, the movie in which the fellowship was formed. Now if you want to make the arguement that Aragorn is not technically a fellowship member in PF because of the Elven cloak he's wearing that's fine, but he is still wearing the outfit he left Rivendell in, and wearing an Elven cloak over top of that hardly constitutes him being "out of uniform" as far as I'm concerned. And if that really bothers someone the solution is very simple....remove his Elven cloak. Now try doing that with the poopin Pippin statue. Is there anyone out there who would call the Gondorian Pippin a fellowship statue had Weta produced the the fellowship version they made and were supposed to release....I don't think so. No more so than anyone is willing to call GTW a fellowship member. Personally speaking, I think it a real stretch to call the Gondorian Pippin a fellowship piece, and the only reason I can see someone doing so is because it's the only Pippin out there.

But in many ways there is a far greater difference with Gandalf, then the fact that he was in grey during the fellowship and white afterwards.
In the case of Pippin, its still Pippin, in that he was a member of the fellowship and hence you still have him, even tho he is wearing Gondorian armour.
That, however, I think is fair to say, is not a fellowship piece, in so much as he doesn't look like he did, when the fellowship was all together at the start.

So all I'm saying is that a distinction can be made between wanting the Fellowship members, compared to wanting them all as 'fellowship pieces'. If you all really want 'fellowship pieces', then I think Dio's is likely your best chance, but even then not very likely.

As for the PF's and Aragorn, yes, you'd have to remove the Elven cloak and funny enough, not get the EX, since I'm pretty sure he didn't have that knife to start with. So the only true fellowship PF so far, has been Frodo :lol

And Legolas :lecture

I think with the PFs, people can't really afford to be as picky with representations.

Gimli, a fellowship member but shouldn't be wearing his Lothlorien cloak while in Moria.

 :lol

SS announce that the Fellowship may or may not be completed in PF or any ot her form and it doesn't seem to provoke much a backlash as a 'poopin Pippin' made years ago.Thats a pity.

A Fellowship in PF form should be made, if it is so unfeasable they should say so outright.
A Fellowship in dio form should also be made, if it is so unfeasable they should say so outright.
If someone is going to ***k you, a kiss would be nice! :peace

Man this sucks. I have been trying to keep hope alive that they would at least finish out the fellowship.. I mean really how hard would it have been to knock out at least Merry and Pippin. And Gimili being one of my favorites would have paid for the R&D in the long run when the Hobbit movie came out. I mean there are like 6 more dwarves that are main characters in that movie.

I really like Sideshow as a company but, I do feel really let down by this.

Not to be petty, *ahem* but it's quicker to type Moria than Mordor ;) haha. I'll shut up now.
