Seriously, I wonder: Now that the franchise is owned by Disney, will they ever produce any characters from that 'special' special? We all know it could never happen as long as George was in charge; I wonder if he had a clause written into the sale contract forbidding Disney to EVER produce anything related to it... I guess Boba Fett was acceptable, but not the wookie family, and certainly not Harvey Korman in drag with four arms... *sigh*

Reading the list, really really excited for Maul robo legs and Dooku, and I hope they make Savage Opress so we can have all the TCW big villains

Savage and Cad Bane and Ahsoka are must haves. However I doubt we'll see anymore CW characters considering they cancelled the show within a week of signing the deal. They're all about Rebels now.

I meant on the Sideshow front. Wondering if they've saved a couple surprises from Celebration before they start reveaing their TFA plans.

You know if I was sideshow, wanted to save time and resources I'd have a Princess Leia set up like this.
The Hoth Leia and Endor speeder chase Leia have same hair style. The Endor outfit and helmet could be the exclusive. Plus they only need to give her an extra pair of white GOGO boots for the escape from cloud city since it's the same outfit as Hoth without vest and scanner on wrist.but escape would need the Bespin head.

If they wanted to be true capitalist they could easily make 3 Leia's in one go. Since they only need 2 sculpts. They could have Endor speeder Leia , Hoth , and escape from cloud city. The Bespin Leia costume is expensive. The figure alone would be 200 bucks.

Will we ever get a decent Ashoka figure? My number 1 choice would be Slave Ashoka (of course) followed by Phase 2 Ashoka then CW future Ashoka (CW Overloards episode) then Phase 1 Ashoka with Rebels waaaaaaay back in last place (though I'd still buy her).

Edit: Slave Ashoka would sell so well I just can't see the issue! They could even do an exclusive edition for an extra $20 that just added her shock collar and I'd be all over that figure with the gold bikini (literally), lol.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the majority of items on the list. I expect that after the Disney acquisition and new movie announcements, that a lot of those plans have been changed or scrapped.

One thing I find super strange is that Sideshow did an X-Wing/ANH Pilot Luke instead of Snowspeeder/ESB version. It would have fit better with the other Hoth figures they've already released. Going forward, I wouldn't expect them to release another pilot within a year of the first.

yeah its a shame, I would have loved to see snowspeeder/ Dagobah landing luke... its all ive ever wanted

and Hot toys will likely do ANH first then ROTJ down the line before touching a pilot version again... damn shame
