They definitely need an update but let Hot Toys handle that. Right now I need a AOTC Anakin that matches SIdeshow Obi-Wan. Convinced only Sideshow can handle that

On the phone with them right now......their official word is yes. Safely sometime in 2021 or so

That's the one ANH figure I want most now.

Han/Chewy (HT)
R2/3PO (Sideshow and Bandai)
Ben (HT)
Vader/Tarkin (HT)
2 Stormtroopers (HT)

That seems like a complete major characters ANH collection and we have great 1/6 versions of all of them now, except for Tarkin. To be sure, there are more great characters from ANH and some pretty iconic ones (jawas/sandpeople), but for a 'core' collection we're just missing Tarkin.

Is the list in the original post correct? I am really curious on what is forthcoming here with sith, clones and bounty hunters but haven't heard anything on several of the "confirmed"
