The pants look a little short. Face is looking good, but a bit to much shine. Should have mine ready to post soon. Got to get the head back from the painter. I take issue with the review of the Hong Kong uniform. Aside from the buttons being silver instead of gold I think it's a good choice. The NYPD hat you use is a close copy of the GCPD hat. The M-1 sling should be white though.

hey guys, new to this threadso fogive me if i repeat questions.
i was looking for the best or close enough cop costume as we all do and just wondered what ppl thought of the royal hong kong police emergency unit set from dragon??
any1 used this? is it worth tracking down, i know changes would be needed and things aded/taken away but it looks cool to me.
i found this 1 if its the same 1 but its on an italian ebay ahah and as im english i cant speak italian aha.

i also foudn another dragon royal hong kong police emergency unit figure in uniform but it s says Seargeant on it, is this a different figure and uniform??
also a question about the face of cop joker, in some of the pics, the side shot of him, his face looks obviously skin tone, but also looks to me has a slight grey look??

The Hong Kong Police Emergencey Unit works great as a GCPD dress uniform. There are two versions. One is a sargent. Don't get that one. When you remove the sargents stripes they leave a glue patch that is impossible to remove. Because the uniform is for an Oriental the pants are a little short. I used the pants fromm the NYPD officer. Also the hat that comes with the Hong Kong cop is wrong. You need to pick up a NYPD hat. It's a perfect match to the movie hat. I also used the NYPD badge as it looked close. The rifle used is an M-1 with a white sling. As soon as I get my repainted sculpt back I'll post some pix.

yeah its the 1 thats not the sergeant. so its worth getting?? but id have to buy new pants right??
im trying hard to find some good pics of the joker in the scen wheres hes wearing the costume but keep getting the same pics coming up of him frm a side.

yeah pics would be cool. which head did u use? im thinking either the stern joker frm howe, when iget it through or pick up a bank rob slick back version head and use that, he can wear the hat then. the stern head wud need the hair altering for the hat to fit i think.

also wondered what bodys/hands etc ppl have been using, esp those who have used this hong kong emergancy uniform. what body would this be a good fit for and what body if i were guna go for the bank job slick head?? hot toys, dragon etc??
im also having trouble finding the hat...any help i clicked a link in this thread to an elite toys page but it jst brings up pics and info on the outfit, nowhere to buy it. i need the hat to go with that hong kong outfit, also need a white shirt.

Hey guys, i came across these photos somewhere on the board, not sure where, whether it was this thread i cant remeber but who did this sculpt of the cop joker??
its a totaly dif sculpt isnt it? with his mouth open etc. is it old, who did it and has there been any circulating around??

-ive read that the hong kong police outfit is a gr8 uniform to get, so if any1s used it: what body does it fit? does it need any new pants?? as i read some1 used pants that where too short and iwasnt sure if they were from this outfit.
-where can i get the nypd hat?? that ppl have said is pretty close to the film look.

If you want to know who did it, it is somewhere in the Joker Photo Thread I think. Personally I do not really like it. Agreed, he looks mad but the scars are too much and it is neither Ledger nor the Joker if you know what I mean. The outfit is a LYPD outfit with a white shirt under it so he will have the same problems with the trousers. I still like the BR head most... maybe a Howes version would even be better (see a few pages earlier).
Concerning the uniform: Wait until next week, I can tell you about the progress of my uniform a little more. Firther you should wait for the Hot Toys 3rd Joker announcment maybe the whole thing is over than...

Hey Kinggrayskull. yeah ill try find it, u got the link to the thread and ill go through the pages to look. i dont mind it actually. but so far i got the bank robber slick head in mind for a cop joker, like most.
so have u ordered that hong kong police uniform?? i found it so if u did order it will u let me know what it fits like and on what body, maybe a photo or 2 iff poss??
aha yeah i bet the 3rd joker is the police 1. ahah. wen is it announced.
and where can i get the police hat?? ?

I used the Hong Kong Police jacket, the LAPD pants, NYPD hat, randum white shirt from eBay. Shoes, socks, and tie from Hong Kong cop. The M-1 with white sling was from eBay. Bought standard M1 and painted sling flat white. All this is on a Hot Toys body. I took the name tag and marksman medal off the LAPD shirt. The badge from the NYPD shirt, and the US lapel flag from an Obama jacket. I made additional decorations and citations from ribbon I got from Joann's. I put the black band across the badge with black stripping tape. I'll post some pix, but I don't have the head back yet so I'll use a Hot Toys head for the photos

No, at the moment I let my mother tailor a copy of the BRsuit in dark blue. If this will turn out good, we will modify the jacket in order to get a police uniform. Hopefully I can come up with some results on Wednesday.

the M1: ebay. It is not that expensive. Enter "WWII M1" or "Dragon WWIIM1" There is also another one for around 15 + shipping which has catched my eye... Though I already have one...

ok i put in both "lapd 1/6" and "lapd bbi" on ebay as u said kinggrayskull and all that came up was the female office figure and a swat team member with the armour etc. no outfits which include the hat and pants etc needed.
i found a few m1s i think so just looking at them now. is there any particular models of the m1 or is there only 1 standard version of the gun?
