Ticks me off when SSC offers free shipping like they could only do it on the peg warmer figures. They should offer free shipping on pre-orders for like the first week they come out, that would at least entice enough people to drop NRDs with them and keep their orders as opposed to going elsewhere.

This is what Alter Ego does. They will offer free shipping on pre-orders for a certain amount of time, plus you get reward points on top of that. I'm still surprised that people are ordering directly from SS with other, better options available. I guess they don't want to wait a couple of weeks longer before getting the figure.

yea I mean, shipping is like 20 from SSC and that's not including the $10 for the packout. Definitely going with Alter Ego and Timewalker in the future, I'm not begging SSC to take my money, so its all good either way.

couldn't agree more especially considering how much they charge for shipping. I get free shipping from Alter Ego on a lot of items and the $4 shipping from BBTS

BBTS is losing my business now that they have to charge sales tax to NC. After $4 shipping and sales tax I end up paying more than SS after shipping. Cost about the same with packout.

I'd thought there had been a few Isolated incidents within the last month. But incredibly rare. Either way. $20 is a helper but not a deal breaker; I'm looking at the Spider Gwen statue they've got with double rewards right now.

The big draw of Sideshow for me is the ability to pay in installments. I've never been the one to be able to drop so much on a figure at once. Applaud the ones that do

AE is awesome. I stopped at their shop this summer during a road trip. Very cool place and cool staff. I like that they offer payment plans, but I think they only offer it for a limited time on new PO's. If its a figure you know you are going to want and need the payment plan, AE is a good option.

YUP! AE is the best IMO. I had to exchange 3 PFs one time b/c each on had a defect and they made it sooooo easy! easier than SS. I tend to only order from them unless I want an exclusive or missed out on something.

I'll be honest and say i haven't ordered anything from BBTS in awhile. I used to use them from Transformers mostly but have since found better alternatives. For someone who has to pay tax, I can see why that isn't a good option. For someone like me it usually isn't a bad option to have when all else fails.

I'm looking to purchasing the Emperor Palpatine with Throne, but can't find a discount code. I haven't used AE before, but it looks like they are getting high praises here.
