lou, I got supposedly one of your capes from a member on here who sold me my medicom batman.

Sorry for the bad pic, but is the V supposed to be this deep?

I can barely make out that photo if it's torn or not but no it's not suppose to be like that.

Nygma - you have to shove the cape in much more to make the V small and accurate. Hopefully that is the long version so you should have plenty of length to be able to shove it enough without the bottom becoming too short

Actually, it's the short version that has plenty to shove down there. THe long has very little.

They are each hand made so each cape may be different in some form or another. The long cape and short cape are made exactly the same and they are both supposed to have enough material to push into the hole, but there are variations when making a item by hand. So the long and short capes should be the same up top, but sometimes there are little differences.

Also I need some extra funds for school so If anyone needs a cape I will make anysize TDK cape for 15 dollars and a begins cape for 30. Just PM me as I do not look at the thread much anymore.

I really don't see how you can shove it in that far, there doesn't seem to be much room in the Medi.

i can almost gaurantee that you have one of my first capes in which case I was experimenting and did not have the right strategy I use today. Which is the case with everything custom made.

I suppose I shall posts pics of the cape when I get home, so we can make sure.

All I have to go by is the 2 capes I have"

TDK long cape on left. TDK short on right.

From the center of the V, the short cape measures a full 4 inches to the end of the tabs. The long cape tabs measure a full 2 inches shorter. That's a lot less fabric to stuff in. Less than an inch when taking the depth of the shoulders into account.

For that price I would consider getting another long cape if I knew you had lengthened the tabs, and I wouldn't have to worry about them slipping out anymore. Regardless these capes are a steal at $15. :)

I must have the long one. Rats, I need the short one...

I'm kind of surprised that you can't drape it over his shoulder though, I thought he could in the movie.

Wait... you have the long one? I thought you had to much material to shove in there. That would be the short one. If the tabs are too long, that's an easy fix. Just cut some of it off.

Here's the short cape draped over the shoulders:

Thanks. :) I think the short cape is a bit to short to pull off the Batman Begins over both shoulders look. I need to try it with the long cape.

Pretty sure that is the same as my "short cape" (on the right).

(That's the HT cape on the left.)

I just need to stuff it in more I guess. Whenever I try to drape it over the shoulders, the V spreads at the back to reveal the shoulder blades.

the material is a bit fragile, but it is so softttt. I really hope my cat doesn't lay on the thing....
