I didn't do any taping. :dunno

Really? And it stayed in place? That's good to know. I'll try it without the tape first. The fewer things for me to possibly mess up, the better. I have rather large hands, and they are not suited to placing tiny pieces of tape on tiny pieces of material. :D

Which did you get?

The short cape will never fall out because you have to stuff tons of material under the chest plate.

The Long cape has much less to stuff in there.

Don't give up right away if it slips out a couple times. It's a matter of getting the "tabs" folded in to bulk up the material, so there is some fine motor skills required, sorry to say. :lol

Screw motor skills, tape is so much easier and quicker :lol

Just a tiny bit of tape never hurt anyone :lol

Received my cape today, couldnt be happier!

Really makes my DX look even more EPIC! Thanks for making such awesomeness lforigno!

Which one did you get? And did you have any trouble fastening it?

^^I decided to go with the short cape. Im glad I did now that I have the cape in hand! Even the short has some length to it, so I can only imagine how long the longer versions must be.

Didnt have any troubles stuffing the ends in though. I was gone try the glue trick, then a couple of days ago, some people were discussing using tape on the tips. But when I actually got the cape, I found that neither was really needed.

So I just took the end of a rat-tail comb & stuffed the ends, until I got the capes length to my liking.

Very satisfied! This is actually the first time my Bats has seen a cape. As long as Ive had him, I havent even bothered to put the stock cape on.

Yeah with the short cape there is no need for tape or anything. Lance mad the tabs huge on the short cape. There's almost too much to stuff in there. But that's a good thing once you get it, because it will never slip out.

The long cape has tabs less than half the size so there is a lot less material to stuff in there, which is unfortunate and my only complaint. But it can be made to work, either with careful folding or adding bulk with tape.
