My trip got cut short. My meeting for Monday got cancelled so I traded flights with my co-worker to get back to work on Dredd. How's that for dedication?

I saw that you were the latest poster in this thread. I was going to come in here and yell at you to catch your flight. I'm very relieved that you're also a huge fan of the movie and your dedication is extremely evident... but don't forget to take breaks when you need them man!

Thanks TotalDominAsian. I actually met this guy on my flight. Was showing him pics of Dredd and I was able to get a sale out of it. I showed him my WIP Dune still suit I started on a while back. So now I can finish it.

I won't post too many pics until I'm done with Dredd. Or I'll get distracted, but I started on it last year. It's one of those figures that you pretty much have to bite the bullet and make the figure exactly like how they made the actual movie suit. There's no way to hack it together or else you'll end up with a statue instead of a poseable figure.

Here's a sneak. I have all the patterns designed out in illustrator and even started to fabricate pieces for the suit. And I have some of the accessories done too. I'll probably have to revive this project after Dredd now since this guy is willing to buy him and the Sting figure that I plan as a companion figure.

The final suit will be a combination of foam pieces and caste rubber pieces. So much detail to capture. The entire under-suit that the foam and rubber pieces fit onto is a complicated network of piping that I want to capture in the figure. Authenticity is my thing. No matter how long it takes.
