I saw a gif set of Laurel's death scene where she tells Oliver that she hopes he and Felicity get back together and even though she knows she wasn't the love of his life, he was the love of hers.

You've gotta be ****ing kidding me. Kill her and than have her promote the ship you killed her for?

I'm done with this show. It's the worst of the three comic book shows on the CW and that says something bad.

Well, that blew some serious ass. If you were ver going to kill that particular character, why wait until they were actually awesome? This is basically what it would have been like had they killed Felicity in Season 2, back when she was actually worth giving a damn about.

Glad I'm done with this garbage. I was wanting to quit for a while but kept holding out hope it would get better.

I really hope the films give Black Canary the justice she deserves.

Well, I seem to be the only one to be glad they got rid of a useless, ill defined and boring character. black Canary was only good when Sarah impersonated it...

However, whether Laurel was believable in the role or not, she's Laurel Lance.

Killing her in a GA show is similar to killing Lois Lane in a Superman show for him to get with some random chick. Or killing Mera in an Aquaman show.

I don't think killing everyone and focusing on Green Arrow would be good either (especially with Amell in the role)

They should just merge him onto Flash's show or Legends of Tomorrow.

Or just reboot this show

I thought it was a decent episode. Big things happened and look at all the talk it is generating in this thread.

Crazy theory alert! I'm going to say right now that Laurel isn't really dead. We see Laurel and Ollie talking and then camera cuts away to Diggle, Felicity and Thea. Plenty of time for the two of them to come up with a plan to fake her death and have her operate under cover or something. Not sure how it could play out, but I got real suspicious when the camera cut away from the two of them talking. Time will tell if I'm on to something or completely off base.

Edit: OK, I have read the day after news articles and it does appear that Katie Cassidy/Black Canary has been killed off, so maybe I am way off base. Or maybe they are lying through their teeth.

Everything about the Sarah version was better than the Laurel version. Sarah you always felt was genuine Oliver level in ability, but she wasn't part of every episode holding Oliver's hand through every fight, so it kind of meant something to the fights and to the story when she turned up. Ever since Team Arrow formed it's just been the "Scooby Gang" beating up generic gang members/soldiers from episode to episode.. Yet Oliver's sidekicks aren't anywhere near his level. (not that Oliver has been anywhere near his own level the last two seasons..)

I'm thinking the same thing! I dunno...maybe all the articles are to throw off the scent. But yes, that cutaway scene is highly suspicious.

What got me was Oliver running into the hospital with his Arrow suit... "help!, help!" Three seasons ago he would have taken her back to the "Arrow-cave", fixed her up with some mystical herbs, and there would be a flashback to the island..

Yeah I doubt she's actually dead, and yes I think the son and I are done with this show after this season..... last episode we were literally laughing and rolling our eyes at the fight scenes....

They all pale in comparison to Silver Banshee's scream.

Also I like how Lurel was able to take on those assassins.

Tonights episode was surprisingly sad and had the most heart this series ever had. the whole public reveal scene was one of the saddest moment for me in a while, it had more emotion the same scene batman v superman and had me near tears. It was a really well done moment and Oliver saying what he said was the perfect send off for that character. truly great episode, even better then the flash this week and i cant wait after this, to see where it all ends this season
