I like this show, but for some reason, I thought this past episode was the weakest of the bunch. The whole BA being mad at the scientist kid who developed the freeze ray without telling him seemed so forced and melodramatic to me. The guy who plays CC is playing him with no personality whatsoever. What was the last scene about? I know CC, but who was the flame guy? Firestorm?

I agree. Michael Scofield doesn't have much of a personality in anything he's in. The only thing he was good in was Prison Break.

That's actor Wentworth Miller and I thought he had a strong presence in that episode. That's all the personality you really need to be a comic book bad guy who isn't the Joker.

The costume design is freaking fantastic, I can't fault them for darkening the colors because it's something everybody does these days, just look at that ****ing helmet, it's beautiful.

The helmet looks good, but the rest, I don't know. Maybe cause he is too scrawny?

At least replace the red with white on the chest logo.

Let the kid grow into it a little. The JWS suit was overly steroidal as Flash, I like how this one actually looks like a runner.

I think the suit looks great onscreen, I just wish they'd quit having him pull his mask off for emotional scenes. You see plenty of his face, there's no need for it. It's not like he's wearing a Spidey mask.

That's true, but in that pic from the last page, it looks almost like the cowl and neck are one fully sculpted piece. Perhaps turning around to look at the explosion (like he did at the end of the last episode) wouldn't have been possible with the cowl on?

The 90's Flash costume is the ugliest superhero suit ever to disgrace my eyes.

I like how this one actually looks like a runner.

Yup, I do't mind that he's skinny, if I were to change something, it'd be the red logo and give him yellowish/mustard boots, that's it, maybe a lighter color, but the design overall is ace.

That's true, but in that pic from the last page, it looks almost like the cowl and neck are one fully sculpted piece. Perhaps turning around to look at the explosion (like he did at the end of the last episode) wouldn't have been possible with the cowl on?

I don't know I've seen him turn his head with the mask on easily enough, I think it's just the trend of having superhero take their masks off in moments of emotion.

I think all the vibrating is a brilliant twist on both his power set and the nature of his secret identity. I also love the face vibrating. Though, the best part had to be how Joe reacted to the vocal vibrations. It was such a human moment, for as little as it was, and, ultimately, it's stuff like that that helps strengthen the idea of their relationship for viewers like us.

I was surprised at how genuine Joe's reaction was in that scene. It didn't come off as cheesy or forced at all. The guy playing him did a great job.
