I like how each episode he learns new skills. Last week he learned to run up a building and run on water. The recent episode he learned to fight and go faster than speed of sound. It's like he's progressing and growing as a hero.

I'm thinking Wells is from the future. He is doing anything he has to do to help Barry achieve his full potential. He may know Barry has something important to do and won't let anything jeopardize that.

Yep, he hasn't attained his top speed yet. I think he can circle the earth in, what, 0.3 seconds? Can't wait to see what he'll learn next. :wink1:

Thawne is from the future. I don't want to ruin anything but if you read flashpoint, you'll know who Eobard is. Eddie Can't be Zoom. Zoom has an obsession with Flash, he knows who what and how Allen became Flash. Remeber when they ran after the dude at the Kegger and Eddie was freaked? Remember how Eddie is going mental about the bullet going off Tonys face? Zoom would already have know Allen was Flash and not be freaked by it. Of course people would argue it's a façade, but remember Eddie is simply an ancestor.

I'm gonna go and think Wells is the Batmite to Barry Allen.

When Barry was recalling when Joe told him the best way to win a fight is to run the other way, I thought he was going to run in the opposite direction and circle the earth to build up speed and end up on the other side and land a super punch. Much like his super move in 'Injustice:Gods among us.'

I know Wells is connected with Zoom, but I don't know if I'd bet on Wells being Zoom.

Anyway, great episode, god damn this show's so good.

I rarely ever get all giddy with a TV show, but that sonic boom punch scene got me all giddy

Supersonic Punch, Baby!!! I feel like Cisco sometimes when I'm watching this. Giddy is a good word to use, Gasparzizou. :yess:

It's getting confusing seeing Wells in his chamber looking at the news clipping with Flash being lost in the future, but when Barry lost his powers the future changed and Flash is no longer missing. Wouldn't that be a good thing?

The writers of this show really know how to throw out the Easter eggs to long time fans. The headline of the future newspaper saying that Flash was missing during a crisis was an obvious allusion to the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. I didn't catch all the names Wells recited of people who died in the accident but one was Ralph Dibney. Just occurred to me that Dr. Wells has a time machine? That device reminds me of the one Ben Affleck built in Paycheck.

No, because Wells wouldn't come to exist without Flash. Which makes him the most likely candidate for Zoom.
