While the wheelchair makes me want to think he's Zolomon the fact that he didn't kill Eddie, I think, pretty much just confirmed that he's Eobard Thawne.

Gotta be Eobard Thawne, otherwise giving Eddie the last name Thawne is just too random.

I thought it was also interesting that when Wells was in the room putting the piece on the suit that every time it cut back to him his wounds were healing with every shot.

so its fair to say that the event when flash goes missing in the future is when he goes back to save himself in the past

So Wells is Reverse Flash?! I asked a few episodes ago why would Reverse Flash show up to intimidate Joe, that would raise suspicion on Wells and people said it couldn't be Wells.

As I said before, the writers did a masterful job of keeping the audience guessing.

This was a perfect example of how well a comic book can be done onscreen without being 'goofy' like everyone alway's claims. Zoom's yellow costume sure looked good to me, love how he was constantly in motion even while just standing there.

Love this show to pieces. Also, I'm not a huge DC guy, but I've always loved Firestorm. Having him in the show is just icing on the cake. Looking forward to Ronnie stabilizing eventually (perhaps merging with Professor Stein??!?) and getting a costume some day. But I can wait.

I'm intrigued to see what Wells/Zoom/Reverse Flash's end game is in all of this.

What I also love about the show are the genuinely moving moments. Barry/dad, Barry/Joe and Barry/Iris were all great.

:exactly:

Zoom is a character that should look very campy in live action with that bright yellow suit, but he was nothing but absolutely badass.

Yeah, obviously I'm a huge Zoom fan and I'm very much loving his handling, I think they've gone with a good mix of stories poured into the one they're using for the series, between this and the Hamill announcement I'm going to go crazy waiting out the break. :panic:

When he did the Reverse Flash voice at the end, I think that sealed the deal, unless he's just a really skilled impressionist.

Zoom or project 'make Flash improve' may or may not be Wells in the suit, but they've obviously used Zoom's psychology in his character, ie. Do anything including use of personal tragedy to help him become the ultimate Flash. Wells had even already made that remark that Flash was his creation or something. If Wells isn't actually in the suit atm, he's building it for someone else who will end up invested in Flash becoming a better hero, something CW is good at, twisting storylines and taking parts from them and reassembling them. If Eddie is Zoom and that's who Wells is assembling the suit for, it's pretty obvious that at this point, this Eddie isn't aware of what's going on, something will happen to twist their relationship, ala what they did with the Arrow and the cop who wanted him in jail the first season. Also since Eddie is not a meta, Zoom wouldn't attack him, instead choosing Wells knowing he'd be fine.

So much to love here. Amanda Pays and John Wesley Shipp in the same episode was fantastic (bring on Hamill!). The Reverse Flash was such a badass, and that reveal at the end was something that...well, I think it was unexpected because it was so expected. Like Niltusk said, they have a way of twisting things 1,000,000 ways on The CW, and, while it could be that Wells isn't the Reverse Flash, there's a good chance it is. All that I can say, though, is damn...talk about playing the long con. Going back in time and killing his mother, I can see, but spending decades, in real time, becoming a respected scientist in order to be there when he's created...that's commitment. There's still a part of me that wonders if Wells isn't a future Barry, though. Maybe he was more akin to the Silver Age Flash, with no tragedy in his life, and, without that extra motivation, he failed to avert the "crisis (whatever theirs may be)," so he went back in order to make sure that he had something else to rush the process; sacrificing the thing you loved the most for the greater good. I doubt that would ever be the case and I could see about a billion and one plot holes in such a notion, but I'm thinking aloud here.

I wonder if it's not as clear cut as we don't want to think it is. Wells is Eobard Thawne, and the reason he didn't kill Eddie Thawne is because doing so would also undo his existence.

Their handling of the Flash really makes me think they could do a full on Batman show. I died a little inside seeing that they're recreating the Ras duel with Oliver, thats iconic Batman **** right there, I know why theyre doing it, but c',mon just give us the Bat already. :gah: :gah: :gah:
