I stopped watched the show live because I just end up forwarding every scene Iris is in. The show has become much better

I don't watch TV shows live, but Flash is the only one I watch the night it airs. usually 20 min or so after it has started to skip commercials.

Another great episode yesterday. Barry traveling back in time and dealing with Wells/Thawne was awesome. Previews of the next episode looked really good too.

I think the scheduling got screwed up and this episode should have aired before the Supergirl Ep.

Yea because Flash on Supergirl was wearing that tachyon device that Reverse had and appears to acquires information on it this episode.

But a pretty good time travel episode.

Good catch.

A great return last night! So was "Jay Garrick" just Zoom pretending to be a hero? I guess that's why Harrison Wells hated him from the start. I wonder if that means we haven't seen the real Jay Garrick Flash yet.

Yep! Saw it last night. :) Supergirl episode was less than a second in Flash time. :lol

This episode bugged me a little. Doing what Barry did should have been the very last resort. Also, Zoom is dying from taking velocity. Why not just wait until he kicks the bucket? It didn't seem like he had much longer to live. This is the first time I felt Barry did what he did out of pride and not the need to help people. Zoom beat him and made him doubt himself. It seemed like Barry wanted his pound of flesh in this episode by smugly thinking he could take down Zoom.

That's the problem with these damn fictional characters. Always with the monologuing when they should be making sure the bastard stays down. It's happened to all the Bond villains, and now it happened to Barry. He couldn't have said all that **** about the importance of family to him while he was locked away in one of the impenetrable, power dampening cells in S.T.A.R. Labs? No, you just had to ****ing gloat, Barry. Way to **** the bed on that one, ya dunce.

Yeah a lot of things bugged me too. Would have been cool to get more references are Supergirl instead of "how long was I gone?".

Also the whole final resort, though I kind of have this feeling he's gonna do his experiment again ala Flashpoint, and maybe that's how we get Wally as a speedster too.

I feel Jay is the iron mask guy, or it could be his father, James Zolomon. But I don't think he really has a grudge against his dad.

The one thing I got the feels was actually the romance. I do like that iris is finally clicking in about Barry. And Caitlin pretty much broke my heart this episode.

Hopefully these last few episodes really kick it in like S1.

Yea the real Jay must be in the mask.

But Flash should've just beat Zoom to a pulp once he was trapped.

I liked the episode until the end when its contradicts its own world building, and several characters make incredibly stupid decisions and act completely out character.

Why did Barry give up his powers when he already proved he was faster then Zoom and could beat him outright?

Why didn't the team come up with a counter plan?

Why didn't Wells sabotoge the device used to give Zoom Barry's speed? His whole arc has been to protect his daughter, but he just powered up zoom who is now on the same earth as his daughter again

Zoom Let Wally go first, why did they feel compelled to keep their end of the bargain? Did they really think Zoom, a killer and liar would hold up his bargain? (Again flash was faster then zoom he could have just fought him or they could have shot him again with nail gun or whatever that gun was they shot him with the first time)?

Why would flash give up his powers to save Wally knowing damn well that there would be nobody else left to stop zoom? Was Wally's life worth the lives of countless others, or even Caitlin's? Why couldn't the team have come up with another plan to save Wally?

What was the teams plan to stop Zoom once they rendered Barry powerless?

How did Zoom travel back and forth between Earth 2 and Earth 1 without a portal or Cisco's help?

If Hunter Zoloman was a notorious serial killer on earth 2, how come nobody recognized him when pretends to be Jay Garrick," only to take their hope away"; His face is not covered.. How didn't Wells know about this, or recognize him for that matter? The way the reveal is played off, he doesn't even seem all that surprised.

Where did they get the cardboard cutouts of Zoloman's family, and why that tactic? that whole scene was a little cruel and out of character for the team, struck me as more of a tactic a villain would use, not a hero.

The team knows Zoom is dying and needs Barry's speed why the hell did they even chase him down? If they just stayed away he would have died eventually since he was stuck on earth 2 without anymore speedsters to save him.
