Yeah, this series has gone in a weird direction the last few weeks. A lot of stuff that just doesn't make any sense. I think having Barry give up his powers, and the circumstances around it just didn't make a whole lotta sense. I really like this show, but me and my boys (12 and 8, and also love this show) agreed that the last two episodes have been really bad and just haven't felt right.

I like it. The whole Caitlin portion was something nice IMO. Hopefully she picks up on the Morse code.

Wally is kind of annoying, but he has his moments.

The villain definitely was flavor-of-the-week, and ******. Jesse is everywhere, she needs to stick to a plan. I do like her connection with Team Flash though.

The intro was nice and depressing. :lol
-- I'd also like a bit more Iris. She's grown on me. I'd take her over Joe. He can be a bit much IMO.

I totally called it about his powers for next week; I do hope that Wally and Jesse take something out of that too.

This one wasn't as stupid as last week, but it's still not where it should be.

I was cringing during the Caitlin Frost scenes. Who couldn't tell that Killer Frost was going to try to kill Caitlin? She was practically winking at the screen when they were making their pact. She's not that good of an actress and yet they keep trying to give her the heavy material. Please stop.

The writers clearly don't know what to do with Wally so he's basically just hanging around so they can give him powers. He's more annoying now than he was earlier this season.

Wells needs to die. I know Cavanagh was great in the role last season but this version is just lame. Why is he whispering all the time? How many times do we need to see him chastising Barry when he's mad at himself? Enough already.

The direction and writing of the show the last 2 weeks have been very disappointing to me. I hoping things improve quickly.

Another CW show that has started to go down hill. I have faith this will pick up, but the last two weeks were some of the worst episodes of the season.

2 weeks are a little sub par and the vultures are circling :lol
Well none of the build up is paying off and the highlight of the season happened on another show. Plus, the last two episodes have basically highlighted the problems of this season because it's not been as good as S1.

:lol 'Freaks.

It's not the amazing ending to S1 so it sucks.

I get the feeling that outside of dolls and tv/movies, peoples lives must suck.

Well... when judging a TV show... you judge it against past seasons. So, yeah, compared to Season 1... Season 2 is not as good.

Do you not understand this? We see it everyday on this site, so why complain about this?

I think they blew their season climax and now need to flesh it out, and that's what has created the lull. We know who Zoom is now, and Barry found a way to get faster. The only mystery now is who is the man in the iron mask?... Flesh out a couple of more episodes and they'll wrap the season up with Barry getting his powers back and beating Zoom..

I get the feeling you guys must have loved Smallville.

:lol I did like Smallville. It had issues throughout its run but it was entertaining. I liked Supergirl on it better than the series that's on now. Plus, Lex Luthor and Doomsday were both better on that show than BvS. I can't believe it's only been 5 years since Smallville ended. It seems like it was forever ago.

I liked the first season, much in the same way I liked the first season of the Flash, but Flash had a stronger start IMO. Both ironically, have the hero running into a vortex in the season finale.

Second season was OK. There were good moments, but the show started sliding downhill for me and stopped watching in S3. I can't recall why I started watching S5 but it was really good. By the end of S6 I was pretty much done. I think I probably watched 3 more episodes including the finale. I know I saw the one where Olsen was killed.

Now I know why it was so easy for me to guess who Lash was on Agents of Shield. They did the same thing on Smallville with Doomsday.[emoji38]
