I always thought Jay Garrick was the man in iron mask, and looks exactly like Hunter Zolomon / Zoom now, but because Hunter used the same technology Eobard Thawne used to copy one's appearance.

I remember that scene early in the season, where Zoom was grappling Earth One Barry's neck at the precinct (or was it at S.T.A.R labs), and Zoom told Wells something like "Good one" (nodding to how Flash was Barry Allen as if it coincides to something on Earth 2).

My theory is that Zoom is John Wesley Shipp / Henry Allen, and copied Jay Garrick's physical appearance then locked up the real Jay Garrick.

I was thinking that the Iron Mask guy could be Henry Allen, only because he made the reference of his mother's maiden name being Garrick. That could just be a super wild guess considering they wanted to link that in somewhere.

I'm sticking with my theory that it's Zoloman's biological dad, who will turn out to be the real Jay Garrick. I think the man who killed his mom isn't Zoom's real dad.

I think it'd be cool if the JSA was a thing and Jay Garrick was The Flash when he was younger, during the "Great War," or whatever they call it. It's pretty much all but certain that it's Shipp under that mask.

Could they possibly do some sort of fan-service with Henry being who we remember as 90's Flash, and making him Earth-2 "real Jay"/man in the mask?... Remembering here John Wesley Shipp Flash appeared in that time-travel sequence, along with Supergirl..

Honestly, more than anything, I want a crossover/revival with this Barry meeting JWS Barry. There are already so many versions of existing characters from that show in this timeline; Tina, Bellows, The Trickster; I don't see how it would be too difficult to have the '90s universe be an alternate earth where "Barry" was born a generation earlier, but, as far as '90s Flash and Jay Garrick, go, I'm just like: "why not both?":lol

You know, I straight forgot that Mark Hamill appeared in this version as the original Trickster... :lol

Did you ever see the Star Trek DS9 episode where they went into the past and met the original crew of the Enterprise? If they could do that back then with 90's effects I think Flash could pull that off easily.

I don't know how they'd do it, but, if they ever did a crossover between the two, I'd love to see Hamill play dual roles. This Trickster and that Trickster, teaming up to take down '90s Flash and New Flash.:lol

Oh, I have no doubt. Surprisingly, pretty much the entire cast of the original series is still alive, too. I don't know how I got the idea, but I genuinely believed M. Emmett Walsh died around the time that Christmas with the Kranks came out, yet, I found out last year when I saw that he was in a movie on HBO, that he's still alive and well, which was a pleasant surprise.

You know, that would be the coolest of cross-canon mind****s lol..

Good episode! I think Kevin Smith should really consider a career in TV directing instead of his own movies! :lol

But seriously I thought it was good, and I liked how Iris really shone in this episode with a lot of good lines and something interesting to do! I think Kevin Smith must have a crush on her (not that I would blame him one single bit)!

Barry's dad declaring that he was going to stick around made me a little suspicious! Is it really him or was he switched by another Earth dad?

Loved Iris' line when Joe asked her if she was sure about this.

Honestly I will never be more emotional than seeing
Nora and Barry interacting

Love the coffee mug stunt too. :lol

Grant really nails those emotional scenes.

Coffee mug scene was pretty funny.

I guess I am in the minority on this one. I thought the episode was dull and predictable. Who didn't think Barry would come back? The last 2 minutes are setting up the last two episodes, I thought the rest of the episode was merely filler.

dull and predictable is that show in your sig. :lol
