I think Barry recruits Supergirl to save his earth. Flash never met Superman so it makes sense that we don't see him. And I never read the issues that this is based on but I remember it being a big crossover story in the comics.

Oh right, I forgot that Super Girl doesn't live in the same universe or world as Barry. I was looking at it from a real world point of view

They should have changed that with Flashpoint and the "rebooted" season 2 of SG on The CW. Just have them coexist in the same world just like Arrow.

I'm guessing it's kind of tough too when you're linking 4 shows now and each one ties into another so you have to make sure things are set up correctly.

It's sort of like having Oliver Queen being outclassed time and time again by Merlyn and Prometheus, and then having Speedy and Arsenal become better archers at similar respective times in their training.

At least to date only Merlyn has really done that, and just for the one season... although they seem to have weakened Oliver since Ra's.

Naw, in the last few episodes she has been slower than a grandma with a broken hip.

The CW shows are either real good or extremely cringe worthy. The dialogue is a good example. The cast of Arrow try to talk tough but much of it just sounds corny. Supergirl tries to sound hip but they sound flustered and boring. The Flash tries to be funny and quirky but sometimes falls flat and sounds simple. Legends of Tomorrow tries to come across as important and modern but most of the time I just don't care.

This one will kick @$$ to watch all again. I'm so far loving this week of crossover's its the way it should always go random team ups all the time. way to go CW!

Loving the crossover so far! It's cheesy, but I really enjoyed the tone. I thought the episode did a decent job giving everyone their moment. Glad to see Barry getting called out for his actions. Hopefully he'll learn to live with it and continue to grow as a character. I geeked out hard for the HOJ!! Can't wait for Arrow!

I really liked the sequence where Barry is fighting Atom, Firestorm, and Supergirl, and she is the only one unphased by this lightning strike

That and Wally in action for the first time!!! before he is abruptly pummeled by Supergirl

Ok, I missed the first few minutes because the mrs wanted to finish Masterchef, , but is there a reason that Speedy is in the mix considering she is "retired"?... other than fan service? And I take it Oliver's noobs are just scratching around at Star City until they get back then..

The flash crossover was great, but the preview for Arrow left much to be desired. I have a bad feeling we are getting acid trip dream sequences and no fighting of aliens. I guess we will have to wait until LoT for them to actually fight the ****ing aliens. Hopefully its not a complete waste like Supergirl was, 4 nights of team up my ass.

I dont get why the aliens mind control machine worked on supergirl, it should have only worked on humans ...did i miss something?

I don't watch the other shows involved in the crossover, is it best just to skip this Flash episode and carry on next week?
