If everything looks good this will be my first 1/6 figure in 2021. Excited about license like this not the obligations of producing the next thing right out the gate from Marvel / Star Wars so ******* boring!

It took a figure of a geriatric man to excite you out of figure retirement huh Bo?

Just kidding, they are nice looking figures. I ordered the formal version. Looking forward to displaying him next to the Enterbay Scarface.

I hope this looks good but their recent Assassin Creed figures and the downgrade from all of them from the prototype doesn't bode well for their future releases. Didn't preorder these figures because of that. Tailoring quality and sculpt quality took a big nose dive from prototype to production for their other figures.

Hopefully someone shows off photos for this one soon since it released.

I don't know what you mean. They literally gave us improved headsculpts for both Ezio and Leon came out great. The hoods were never going to be perfect with cloth material, not even HT can pull it off.

From what I've heard they've always delivered a solid product, only issues I've seen are the hoods on the AC figures are a bit bulky.

As for pre order head I'm not sure.
The statue came our few weeks back looks fantastic.

Their tailoring overall is thicker on the production compared to their prototype, hood aside on the AC figures. Again, hoping the best for this one since I'd love to grab it if it comes out looking great. I'm hoping they match their prototype quality on the tailoring for this since, unlike the AC figures that has multiple complex layers going for it, this is just a simple black suit.

Aside from the hood, I don't see in what way the outfit is thicker than the prototype.

It was more noticeable with the mentor Ezio to me but maybe the god awful hood on that figure just made the rest of the figure look ten times worse to me than it was.

It's not bad there at all. You can just see on the edges a bit and how well it's hem/stitched on the prototype. Just looks better fit and sharper.

I don't know what it is with DamToys prototype shots that just have a much sharper and cleaner look overall. Again, hoping the best for this figure since the prototype looked great. I'm surprised we haven't seen any shots of it yet.
