It's mainly just making new sigs (like my new one currently in rotation *waits for applause*) :hi5:

I'm just trying new stuff. Youtubin' A LOT. It's a handy tool for PS. Whatever effect I'm trying to make I just type it in and sure enough, someone has a vid about it. :lol I was working with the Magic Eraser tool tonight and trying to isolate images with fine lines (ie. hair blowing in the wind, etc. etc.) Discovered "refine edge" instead and WOW!!! Love it.
:lol It shore is purty, Chap. I might center the text in the negative space to stage right of Buffy, then call it pro. "Elite", if you will. :D Even with that one small critique, I think it's a sexy sig. I always found the refine edge function to be kind of a pain in the ass. It seems to get some edges alright, then I normally have to just go in and adjust them by hand anyways. It works on some images and sucks on others, but it does have its purpose.

Thank you, sir. It's definitely a work in progress, so I'll be making changes to it in the future. Your advice is appreciated!!! :rock

x2 T! :clap :clap :clap I really want one of these but I don't have the money. I need to sell some stuff first to get this one. :monkey2

So do those who have this piece in hand feel that it is in scale with the other SSC comiquettes?

He appears a tad smaller than the other coms. However, he is hunched over and that can be a bit deceiving. People that are saying he is close to Bowen scale are crazy. He is definitely larger than that. Jeez, look at the pics. This is a killer sculpt. The small possible difference in scale didn't stop me from buying this piece.

I just wish I have the photo skills like you ....

Thank you, but it's very easy. You just need a camera with some manual features and a tripod. Set the shutter speed as long as possible, mine goes to 15 seconds, make sure room is very dark, make sure the camera is very still and take the shot, while the shutter is open use a flashlight to "paint" different areas of the statue. That's it, just experiment with it until you get an image that pleases you:clap

Dang, that's one sweet plan that I'm gonna have to borrow from you, T. I don't think my cam has that kind of crazy long setting on the shutter, but my woman has a nice camera I'll have to break out for just such an occasion.

Thanks Barb, but how did you shoot that latest Spidey pic? I would've sworn that's what you did on that one.

Finally pulled the trigger and used some of my reward points to add this DD comi' to my collection. Just had to pay the $37 for shipping and taxes. I think $37 is a fair price for this DD comi'. It's not worth $269 to me. I'm hoping that I'll get this DD and the Hobgoblin on the same day. Still waiting on my Hobgoblin shipping notice...:(

I had to send mine back, way too small and paint chips on the base. Saved some money.

Just packed up (ie rotated) my Thing PF to make room for a daredevil/elektra display. After packing up the thing, not sure if I feel like opening two more.
