You know that's not a diss to anyone that has bought this DD comi', but yet the way that I use my reward points. I let them stock pile for times just like this when you have that statue that you are unsure about, but somewhere in you, you still like it. What not a better time to bust out your points when statues like this come up. I've used my points twice for statue like this e.g....Silver Surfer & Dear Devil comi's. I'm sure when I get this in hand which looks like it's going to be next week now. I'll think it worth more than $37. My next unsure purchase looks like it's going to be the Angel comi' for now.

#290 in the house. Really love this statue. The pose is great and the base is really detailed. One of the best DD pieces on the market. One thing though, for those that have the EX. Do the arms have magnets in them or are they just a socket connection? My arm holding the mask does not fit as tight as the arm holding the battons. I'm afraid if I move the statue the arm may fall out. Should I contact SS for a replacement accessory? I really like displaying it with the human portrait and him holding his mask.

The other issue I have with this statue is putting him on and taking him off the base. It was quite tricky and hair raising fitting DD on the base. Taking him off the base was tough too, trying not to damage the body and base at the same time. Mine already has scratches behind DD's palm, the one resting on the tombstone.

NOt having much luck with SS lately with 4 out of 4 statues coming with some flaws in one way or another :(

I read lot's of horror stories about inserting DD into the base and I must've got lucky because it took me literally 5 seconds.:dunno

Also the EX arm has a magnet as well as a pin, mine stays in securely.

maybe your peg is just smaller than average:wink1:

j/k:lol

had a bit of trouble as well but it's good now. of course, i don't think I'll ever be able to remove DD when it's time to pack him up but hey:dunno

Thanks fuzzy. You should wish me luck with getting him on the base. That's where I had a devil of a time. SSC sure didn't make it easy to put him on the base. It's almost impossible to do without scraping up the palm of his hand.:slap
