In addition to the Punisher, I would love to see a Moon Knight series done like this.

Honestly, Marvel could probably do a whole slate of their supernatural characters. They have the rights to both Blade and Ghost Rider, so, you could easily build on that corner of the universe, while The Defenders shows build on the street level. Personally, I think it'd be neat if they adapted some of Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run with Renner as part of a second round of street level shows, along with The Punisher. I only read the first volume that my buddy let me borrow, but I loved it. If they introduced Elektra, and she was a success, you could probably even give her her own show to round things out.

I like how its connected to MCU, its takes place in NYC after battle in Avengers. Another point for Marvel. They universe getting bigger and bigger

But suit is quite awful for my taste

just finished episode four, I'm quite surprised at how graphic the show is, a lot more violent than I ever thought it would be, the end with Fisk and the russian was insane, I'm surprised Marvel made a show this violent, I wonder if all the other shows will follow suit.
Same here-last night on my laptop-couldn't believe the car door head slamming. I'm hooked on this show-haven't read a DD comic since Miller took over in the early '80's, but he was always my favorite in the Marvel universe. I'm probably going to hit my LCS this week and start picking up some trade paperbacks.

I"m hoping to at least start this show this coming weekend, time permitting. Or I may just wait for current shows to end their seasons before jumping into this one. But I am so looking forward to it. It has peaked my interest for months now and the reviews couldn't be any better.

Just finished the whole series.

Pretty much perfect.

Charlie Cox is excellent as Murdock. Acting, fighting, American accent, everything.

Fisk, Karen, Claire, Ben, everyone is great, even Foggy.

The final red costume is awesome. Daredevil brought to life.

I would love a nice deluxe Blu Ray set of this series. Maybe in a "Nelson and Murdock: Attorney's At Law" briefcase or something.

I'm into a few minutes of episode 12 and this series is awesome!
I can't wait to see how it ends.
Do you think there'll be a second season or is this a one shot deal?

I believe it was intended as a single season that will tie into the Defenders along with seasons for Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

The success Daredevil has experienced may change that though. I could see another season being released, or even an appearance for Daredevil in a feature film. Or, even his own feature film.

After seeing Ben die I was hoping Frank Castle would have found Fisk instead of DD. I was truly saddened to see him die and was really hoping he would return.
Karen shooting Wesley was pretty shocking as well. I kind of thought it would go that way when he put the gun down but dismissed it that he couldn't be that stupid/arrogant/predictable but apparently it was. Nice to see her so traumatized by it.
I was also happy with the fight scenes in that he had to repeatedly hit opponents instead of instant knock out. You aren't getting a job with a major crime boss if you have a glass jaw.

Yea, growing up Daredevil, Namor, and Doctor Strange were my favorite comics to read and favorite marvel characters. I don't know why Daredevil never became an A-list character. He was always like a cooler version of Batman to me.

We don't need a movie after this, just give us season two :rock

I really like that he got his arse kicked, more than once. Gives it a bit more realism imo.

This series is amazing, I'm only episode 10.

Cox owns daredevil really well.

Same with D'Onofrio and Fisk (even though I did find his dialogue to be weird and awkward at times).

I also loved how they tied it with the rest of the MCU as well.

Fisk took a little getting used to. I like the angle they took, and look forward to seeing a full fledged Kingpin. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I maintain that Elden as Foggy was a weak point. He plays the stoner better (I laughed when I saw him in the college flashbacks since that how I know him - Idle Hands anyone?). Character was good, just stilted acting.

I was nervous when they started doing Fisk's backstory that they would try and make him sympathetic but I think they handled it well that he made his choices.
My only criticism of D'Onofrio was that he is extremely clumsy and not graceful in the least. I have no idea if they had him working with fight choreographers and doing any kind of combat practice but he really looked like a lumbering oaf. The CB Kingpin was a master martial artist and rikishi.

As much as this was Daredevil's origin, it was also Kingpin's. I'm sure we'll see a more confident and graceful Kingpin next time, now that he know's what/who he's up against. He's staring at that wall thinking of the man he wants to become. ;)

Finished the series. A+

I really loved aspects of Vincent's Fisk. He did a great job. Wasn't sure of some of the emotionality he showed in the character but it was his development into the eventual "Kingpin." Kingpin is one of my favorite villains and D'Onofrio delivered exceptionally well. Loved the fight scenes.

Cox was great as MM/DD. He really brought the element of humanism to DD that has been hit and miss in the comics. I love love love this series and think they delivered a wonderful product.

As for my favorite parts:
- I loved the brutal battle scenes: where DD battled the red ninja, then got demolished by Kingpin; the hallway battle; the garage battle with
Russians
- The backstory of MM and Stick was great.
- Kingpin breaking out of custody
