I wish it was a completely separate thing. I know the Movie division and the television had a major falling out so they might actually start straying away from all the movie references and be its own thing from now on.

Roxxon was where the final battle of Iron Man 3 took place. :)

I actually completely understand this as well. They're somewhat very subtle references and it's not like they're literally saying Iron Man, Hulk, or even the Avengers by name. Foggy's only name dropped Captain America by name once and you see one kid dressed up in a Cap costume in Jessica Jones.

I have to say I can't help but wonder, when Matt is brooding about ''his city'' falling apart and feeling like it's all on him when the threat is escalating - shouldn't he or others be saying ''yeah but where the **** is Iron Man, Spiderman, Cap etc? You'd think they might lend a hand'' The show does make it seem like it's just Daredevil by himself with no one else who could or should possibly help.

Street level stuff.

I think Matt's kinda pulling a Batman right now and is all like "nooo I gotta do this by myself. It's my city, my responsibility." Plus, that's why we have these Netflix shows. It's for all the street level stuff.

Daredevil really doesn't do crossovers with the big characters...Spider-Man is about as far as they go

Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist would be the farthest they'd go with actually being Avengers...ala New Avengers. Hell, even Matt only had a few panels in Civil War.

Lots of interesting feedback here. I want to start the series all over again. Just not enough hours in the day for everything I want to watch.

I'll tell you this much: going from daredevil to arrow is like going from jurassic park to the good dinosaur

So, again please excuse the lack of spoiler tags on my cell, but it hasn't been established who blackfish really is right? I thought it was blonde who got blown up but it might have been the cournal or some bigger "fish" altogether.

For now Blackfish was
the colonel, well used in the story.

I believe there was a short exchange where DD pretty much said he can only do his small part BUT yeah it would've been better had DD or Foggy specifically mentioned one person doing their part in a world full of superbeings.

I have less of a problem with DD fitting into the MCU than I do with DD being in the same world with Agents of Shield. AoS definitely should have had a mention of DD in their quest to find "powered people".

Finally managed to get it finished after a couple of days off. Enjoyed it more than the first season, which was already fantastic. Jon's Punisher was an easy highlight though, some of his scenes were incredible. Look forward to watching again when I have the time.
