Since it seems like they are creating this shared universe that marvel did with the avengers and DC is trying to do..

Maybe I misunderstand you but there's no ''seems like'' - this show is set in the same universe as the Avengers. As strange as that is considering how hardcore this show is compared to all the Marvel movies and Agents of Shield.

Can someone help me understand something?

What was the Cournal's whole thing against Punisher? He defended him in court then when Karen is interviewing him. Then she notices the picture of both of them with the guy at the docks and then he flips the switch and decides to go all-villain? Was the cournal really against Castle the whole time or did Frank blowing up the boat just flip his loyalty? I didn't think that part was connected well enough. I don't even know if I'm asking what I truly want to ask. Why is he against Frank?

The Bill Paxton effect?
:lol That too.
Paxton and Campbell can make anything more entertaining than it actually is.

I just don't like how pretentiously serious S2 and S3 are.
I loved Absorbing Man and Calvin but both were wasted, no reason to revisit the entire season for them.
So far S3 only had one good episode (4,722 Hours) and one cool character (Rosalind Price, wasted already).

You didn't miss anything, they chose to leave what happened between the 2 vague for now. :gah:

Oh ok. So, when Frank sees the guy with half a face on the boat in episode 11 prior to all that and the guy says "it's been a long time", they are only referencing the military aspect, right? As far as we know, those individuals had nothing to do with the sting in the park that killed Frank's family

IMO the only thing AoS has over Daredevil are the season finales.

Good point, might have to agree.

Had Punisher done more at the end of S2 I would be disagreeing with you. :lol

That you're wrong with,

they absolutely were involved with the park.

Remember when the colonel said that the drugs had nothing to do with the shootout, it was all a ruse just to get at Castle.

I'm thinking some crazy CIA **** went down in Kandahar.

Great, so after all that and the court scenes and backtracking we really don't know much of anything afterall about the day that changed Frank forever. I have to go back and watch the courts scenes as well as many others again. I binged this so hard inbetween my two jobs I might have dozed off a couple times.

I'm honestly surprised punisher and daredevil crossed paths so briefly.

Same here, the binge watching caused all those ninja fights to start melting into one another. :lol

But those first 4 episodes really grabbed everyone by the throat didn't they...high quality powerful storytelling will do that, I bet most fans did the first 4 straight thru, maybe even 5 and 6!

I'm going back to revisit a few episodes myself now that I slept. :lol

Is it? Nobody in any of these shows reference any sort of event that has happened in the marvel cinematic universe. Vigilantes seem like a new, scary thing yet if Cap and Iron man and Asgardians existed in their world you'd think it would be a much easier pill to swallow.

Besides, these series seem so grounded. I mean daredevil is supposed to be one of the best fighters in all of marvel, but we could already tell he's not in the same real as movie Cap or BP. They'd punch a hole through him.

So, again please excuse the lack of spoiler tags on my cell, but it hasn't been established who blackfish really is right? I thought it was blonde who got blown up but it might have been the cournal or some bigger "fish" altogether.

The first season of DD has referneces to The Incredible Hulk, Roxxon and the Battle of New York,. while season two has references again to the Battle of New York and even Cybertek from AOS. Jessica Jones has also had references to all the superpowered people popping up all over the place, and of course, the Battle of New York. Luke and Jess also briefly mention the "big green guy and his crew" and "the flag waiver" But that's all that directly comes to mind right now.

Holy crap...I need to pay more attention.

I don't know what roxxon is outside daredevil, but yeah I don't remember the others. I retract my question.

Roxxon was where the final battle of Iron Man 3 took place. :)

Those references aside I can understand how someone would think Daredevil was a completely separate thing.

I actually completely understand this as well. They're somewhat very subtle references and it's not like they're literally saying Iron Man, Hulk, or even the Avengers by name. Foggy's only name dropped Captain America by name once and you see one kid dressed up in a Cap costume in Jessica Jones.

Thanks fellas....so then why is there no Hot Toys Daredevil?! Lol
