wow just looking through more of Chris's work and I have to say you're a really brilliant sculptor. thats a pretty rad dan ackroyd head and that goodman head would be worthy of blues brothers or even a 12 inch for a big lebowski set

makes me even more excited!

Kuato, will you be offering differnt paint-ups on the Joker? I mean his make-up was different in every scene. Ranging from messy to semi clean. I imagine a screen cap or photo would help right? I'm pretty sure I'll have you paint both of mine, but like everyone else I would like to see a) the headsculpts and b) your painting of them. I've seen your other work so I know you have an amazing gift, but it would still be nice to see something. Does that make sense? Either way, I can't wait for some updates!

Yes Buttmunch, I've asked those who have paid to specify if they'd want a messy or clean joker look, and Just to let everyone know again, I will paint him exactly how you want him, Find a photo and send it and I'll mimic the paint apps. I'm using the High REsolution thread for reference, there are some great photos to use in that thread. So if you find a pic you'd like him to look like just send it over to me Buttmunch.

I can't wait for the updates too, I've been practicing on the Jokers, but I don't want to reveal it yet, I want it to be a surprise , Chris Howes has something great in store with the sculpt to make it look more realistic when i paint it.

this is starting to sound very intriguing indeed! can't wait to see the 2 joker sculpts so i can match up which make-up style i want for each. very excited about this. i went and paid blind because i've seen both your work before and it's stellar. i'm certain it'll but nothing less than superb. then we'll have 4 absolutely superb TDK jokers at SSF.

Cool thanks! I'll have to see the sculpts first to see what I think what looke they would satisfy me best with.

With luck I'll have first photos of at least the version 1 Joker late tonight (Saturday, Aug. 2)

I'm using a new wax, "Fuse" from Willow Products. Real nice stuff, a little "waxier" than Casteline. I think it will turn out nicely.

Anyway, stay tuned.....

All is good. No need to rush. Is the sculpt still open to critiques and corrections at this stage? I'm sure we will have a few as it seems a sculpt is never perfect the first time around.

Not rushing, I'm aiming for top quality. Just didn't have the work time I expected tonight.

Critique is always welcome, I love to hear thoughts from different sets of eyes. I end up staring for so many hours at the sculpt that fresh perspective can really help.

That being said, I'm REALLY trying to get as close as possible first time around. I always make changes after the first round version, but I hope to minimize them. We shall see!
