Yes, you were. I would have taken advantage of the codes earlier but for some reason, I couldn't get a 10% pop up code to save my life. Now they are coming fast and furious but the site won't allow me to use them. :lol

:lol:lol exact same thing with me, tried on the GG and it wouldn't go through, tried contacting them through chat and that also wouldn't work so I finally just cancelled it........well guess what after cancelling it I get an email this morning saying they are charging the non refundable deposit.......un****ing real....really wish they would get there **** together. All this pain in the ass for a 10% discount....:lol:lol

I'm trying to get this code to pop up. How long should you wait till you try again ?

I was really tempted to get her, especially with the 10% off but at the end of the day I'm disappointed at the 2500 ex es and unknown regular. I'm not trying to inflame the es argument but I do try to be prudent in the "collectible" part of this hobby. I'v noticed that Aquaman and GL havnt sold out of their ex with 1500 and 1250. I'v also noticed no sell out on Red Sonja at 1500, Brown Wolverine at 1500, Captain Marvel at 1500 and even Lex Luthor at 500. It's just an observation at this point but it's also making me hesitate with new orders. I don't want to be the only one in the game still.

I placed a pre order for her. I think if you like the Statue then go for it. Don't worry if something is going to sell out, or the ES. The money we spend on collectibles is extra so enjoy it because you have earned it.

I totally agree with ya on this. I also see the point of if you like just buy it, but for us that have been in this for 10 years of more, it might be old habit but I like knowing my piece was only one of say 250 or 500 etc. 1500-2500 just doesn't do it for me anymore, just like the girl friend that was nice and skinny and always in a good mood and now she's fat and a grouch all the time, she just doesn't do it for you anymore.....:lol:lol:lol

Honestly though I'm starting to see a over saturation of statues from all these different companies and I predict there's a bubble coming soon with the higher end statue collecting. Look at how many different high end Cap, Thor, Hulk or Spidey statues you can buy now. Use to be the only game in town was SSC or a couple other smaller statue sized manufactures like bowen. Now they're everywhere.

Funny story, I just sold my Mystique AH comiquette statue which was closer to 1/4 than 1/5 as most people know, but this piece still had the invoice on it from 2010 and it cost $175.....:lol

Now anything with a DC or Marvel name on it automatically costs $400-$500. The new Spidey coms are quite cheap still but they're way smaller than this piece was. Either way it just goes to show the huge price increases we've seen in this hobby along with the huge production increase from SSC and other manufactures getting into the market..

I love the girlfriend idea :lol. You are definitely right, over saturation. With so many new release, each new preview... I just go ooh nice, not bad, ok, so so. There is no more pressure for me to go, I must PO that statue, etc.

That Captain Marvel piece looks pretty good as well based on the pics circulating today. Not sure which one I'd go for if I had to pick. The DP fits in better with my X-Men collection but the Captain Marvel is a stunning piece. Wasn't on my radar before today.

I'm at WonderCon and DP looks great. Huge base, though. The silver part of the base is probably as big around as the base on the Classic Catwoman, but the flames of the Phoenix effect extend further beyond that.
