And another cool little tidbit. We were supposed to go to this Mini Con in Orlando today, but couldn't go due to obvious reasons. But our friends went without us, and they surprised my Wife with a phone call from Emma Caulfield who played Anya on Buffy. They told her about Therese's condition and why she couldn't be there, so Emma decided to give T a call and tell her hello.
It really made her day, Therese had tears in her eyes she was so touched. It was very cool of her to do that for Therese, and very cool of her friends to set that up.
Hey guys! Well, the Wife got various tests... The doctors told us that her brain seems fine, no issues to speak of. They think that she has Juvenile *some big word here* Epilepsy, it's a certain type that is affected by hormones or another trigger to set off a seizure.
They told her to keep on her meds, and if she can make it through to her next period without having an aura or seizure... she can drive again and should be ok in the future. She can take the meds throughout a pregnancy if that happens, but cannot breast feed.
So good news all around. My Wife should be perfectly fine, I just have to watch her carefully and make sure she doesn't start having auras or any seizure symptoms.
