Also, I figured I would explain my new signature and avi... I'm not really losing my mind, well... possibly.. but it's not that bad yet.
I was recently burned on several transactions, just found myself in situations that I really didn't like. I also had a very expensive figure get lost on it's way to the UK and now am trying to either find it or refund the guy... with money I don't have and won't have for months.
So to lose that figure for nothing (HT Dutch), and also to have multiple paypal disputes and a large number of people emailing me and basically upset at me for taking so long... well, it's the straw that broke the long dead camel's back. I honestly can't do this anymore, and I am not going to be talked down. And this is not for sympathy.
I will not ship overseas again, unless it is to Canada. And then it will be case by case. Anything else will be only with other customizers or close friends. I just can't afford the expensive tracking nor can I afford the disputes and refunds.
I will NEVER offer my repaint services here again. It's long been known, but I will reiterate. Those with repaints from me will have rare items, things that I will never recreate even for exorbitant amounts of money.
I will NEVER make full figures for sale as lots. The figures I make will be made to order, and the heads will be painted and ready to ship before a purchase is ever made. And they will be few and far between so that I can focus on doing the work quickly and with higher quality than i now produce.
And lastly, this thread will be locked and I will pretty much disappear from the customs section save for the occasional appearance. I don't want the drama and honestly, I just don't have the heart for this anymore. It's a fun business, but not for me. At least the way I have been doing it.
I'll still create and I will still sell, but in much different ways and entirely off site. The past 2 years have been a living Hell for me and have drug my name through the mud, killed my creativity and hurt my paint apps. I really need to reevaluate and approach this in a new way.
For those that I haven't responded to, please be patient with me... I continue to be bombarded from all angles with PM's and emails about everything you can possibly think of... so sometimes I feel like England during the early years of WWII... just shellshocked as all Hell. I will try my best to catch up slowly and respond to people as I can.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support me despite my poor business practices and mood swings. You guys are truly the best.
