Now I just have to hope it arrives safe somehow or gets returned to me... otherwise.. I have to shell out money I don't have to pay the refund to the guy who bought it.

If you have the receipt from when you sent it, take a picture. It might help you in the case of a paypal dispute, proving that you sent something heavy to the country of interest during the timeframe of interest.

Also, as Bannister says, sometimes countries will scan the customs form and you can see where it was last, though this is by no means required, and I've had several cases where this was not done.

ah thanks for that.. Yeah I know how you feel, I was waiting for almost 2 months for stuff from America to get here in Europe! So all is not lost, unless it was send like 6 months ago.. Just saying man, customs can sometimes royally screw you!

Yeah, the customs number from USPS is trackable... and you can at least find out if it left the country, arrived overseas and even if it was delivered.

And yeah, with the UK box... I've been scouring my stuff looking for the receipt and the only thing I found was the receipt with no customs form attached. So I think that my shipping center didn't give me my copy that day... of course... cause that would mean I had GOOD luck.

When you filled out the customs form did you check the box that asked what you wanted done with the package if it was undeliverable? One option is return to sender - unfortunately they do charge you the shipping to get it back.

When I am done, this thread will be locked and I won't be here. I might peek in on the forums here and there, but after I am done, I'm also done as a customizer on Freaks. You might still see my work pop up on Ebay here or there, or on Horrorbid, but I'm done with being a paid slave.

Josh - I don't presume to understand what you're going through but this puzzles me. Can't you just be done with the business part of it and still hang on the forum?

I (obviously) don't have access to your inbox, but could there really be so much bad blood that you have to leave altogether?

As for your reputation, I don't know how it could have taken a hit. Sure, you're late with a lot of orders, but you've been straight with everybody ever since you realized you were over your head. Not only that, but you didn't run away. Most other people would've cited the russian spammer excuse long ago, but you've stuck with it.

You shouldn't need an actual copy of the customs form if you want to try to track. When you send via USPS, they print the customs form number on the receipt itself.

You can type that into the USPS tracking area and see the last time it was scanned.

Good lord Josh that is a ????ing lot of work you took on. That is probably the main problem right there.....

I think taking Banny's advice is a good idea. let everyone know you are going to log on only one day a week with updates and stay away. as long as people view your profile and see that you were online this or that day, theyre going to be on your ass about not responding to their PMs or emails. Plus you shouldnt be reading the forums for leisure at this point... good luck.

Thankfully, I DID check the return to sender box... just in case. I'd rather pay the hefty shipping than lose the thing.

And Karamazov, the shipping center I go through doesn't print them out which sucks. They don't even put the addy on them or even the zip. So it sucks for that kind of backup.

Thanks a million Kabukiman, there isn't a lot of bad blood.. I still love a lot of my buddies here and will still peek in from time to time. But I know for a fact that my customizing days here are done, it's just not what I want to do anymore. I'd rather do a few really outstanding pieces than 100 mediocre ones a year. That's where I am ending up.

And Nash, you are 100% right. I don't even come on here for leisure reading, I usually just peek in to see if I got an urgent PM or if my thread was being bombarded with "where's my stuff" posts. I haven't peeked into many threads at all, and those that I do are usually only when I am stuck at school and can't do anything else.

But as far as across the board updates and everything, I just don't have the time for that. I usually only get online on my few breaks where I rest my eyes.

DA take a break, seriously though I stepped into the world of customizing for others before I came to this board and just as quickly stepped back out of it. The work just isn't any fun when you have to do it and are only one person. Take a break like I did, actually about a year or two and in the last year and a half I've gotten back into it a bit, but only for myself. Or occasionally to make something I wanted myself that I find others want, and finding someone else who is willing to deal with the casting and all that. My advice is to take a break, concentrate on the collectibles you like for your collection and eventually the fun in making your own custom figures will come back

You stated you were shipping everything out from your for sale thread on 10/26 after you were feeling better. It is now 11/8 and I still haven't received anything so I'm just checking to see if it was shipped yet or not. If not when it will be. I am expecting the game, maximus kit, Joker bust and tie. I sent you a separate payment in early august according to my PP records for shipping the joker back. If you didn't read the PM the game is for my nephews bday and I'm hoping to have it soon. Please let me know whats going on through here or PM when you get a minute.

Just to let you guys know, I am working dilligently... I finished 3 heads, and 4 full figures this weekend. I may be having a rough time but I seem to still have the skills.

I will keep plugging away guys, and should have a lot more to show for it this week.

Keep at it bro, stay focused, and enjoy. Post some photos and drop in from time to time and everyone here will be more than satisfied (at least they better be! )

Can't wait to see photos of my Anakin PF heads and battered Deckard head (amongst all the other cool stuff you're working up for everybody!)...I'll keep checking in too!

P.S., I'm sending you a PM regarding shipping and tracking on my stuff when you're ready to ship it out. Please respond bro...I want to send you more $$$ to help cover the tracking so it won't get lost on ya (or me! )
