I can tell only about myself, but last time, when I posted here "What's going on?" (I tried to contact him off-board for some months & he simply ignored me) - he promised that we will stay in touch & he will update me with some progress. He didn't. As always
I'm waiting for his answer for two months more already again
Again, I can tell only about myself, but after I tried to contact him here, in his thread, I received about 10 PM's from people's that paid Josh & received nothing from him. It was just like "Thank you man! I can't post in his thread, because everytime a lot of old-time-boardies try to flame me & etc".
Think about it. People afraid to post something because of comment like yours. Of course, you are all maybe good old friends & all, but try to understand - there is a lot of peoples who paid Josh (and paid a lot) & received nothing from him. And now - he's not even on the board. He always ignores PM's & e-mails. In this situation - peoples get mad & their posts can be rude. This is not right, but it's nobody's fault, except Josh.
I would like to ask everyone who have Josh's mobile phone or something else to contact him - please, tell him that there is a lot of people who really want's to know about the status of their purchases.
This is very serious situation & it starting get's out of control. This is serious. This is crime.
I'm sorry again, english is not my first language, but I hope somebody who is a really close person to Josh will contact him & he will be able to get his work done & we all can try to forget about it.

We know you are waiting, hell a lot of us (including myself) are waiting. But the threating and chastising public posts don't help the situation. Josh has explained himself and is attempting to work through the backlog.
Asking for updates is fine, but posts like the one from Dront are inappropriate and will be addressed. Honestly I could give a ???? about Dront's feelings... if he posts a d!ck response I'm more than happy to take up for Josh.

There's no sense retreading this all over again, this thread went a full 360 on the matter, Josh dealt with it, Josh will deal with this latest post and all will be fine in the end.

yeah, i don't think calling josh a criminal is right at all. he's working. there's not much he can really do here, except keep working.
what i feel though is that the majority of the frustration is coming from communication. i know josh has posted that answering emails, pms etc. takes time away from working. which is understandable, but as a suggestion, josh could post once every week or 2 weeks here just posting a list of what's done and ready to go out soon, and what he plans to work on that week. really, just a list. it would help a lot of people i think. maybe something to think about for the new year. even if he doesn't post anywhere else or answer pm's.

It's probably not a terrible thing for this thread to get resurrected on occasion... lets Josh know it's time to jump in with an update.
Not that I condone Dront's attitude, but everyone's got a breaking point and unfortunately this thread is where people are going to vent about any frustrations they have with the delays on their pieces.

If one of the regular visitors to this thread is a moderator, we could probably start putting one together for him with ease. Everyone who is waiting on something can post what they're waiting on, then the mod could update, say, the first post in the thread. i'm still waiting on heads from 2007. i think it's funny that someone is upset that they are waiting from October. i assume they mean October 2009. i've been waiting from October 2007.

I think it would be fair to have a list of some sort that can be updated, if Josh doesn't have time to create a list then maybe we can come up with a list of items in queue, etc by polling folks with orders.
It's great that everyone is so patient but it would be nice to get updates as well. I know I haven't been waiting as long as The Craw (one year without an update is where I stand) , but I think it's reasonable to start an update list of some sort. Well, if we DO decide to go with a list, we'll need a moderator who can update the first post in the thread with the info as it comes in. Anyone willing to jump in? We should not start listing what we are waiting for until we get the thumbs up from a moderator.

I been waiting since 2008 and we're getting close to 2010. I have 250 USD in stuff... so yes, I am concerned, but I still have faith that Josh will pull through.
But a new update would be nice and would alleviate us of stress as well.

the problem is i've kinda lost interest in the figures i wanted repainted. Josh should just buy the rest of the figure from me and then he can finish painting them up at his own pace and sell them when he's done.

I have faith in Josh as well and hope that he is ok, but I think we can help him out and alleviate stress for folks feeling "howsed" by creating an orders list of some sort.

I don´t understand this situation Why the customizers don´t reply to their clients? I make prop replicas about Indiana Jones and the invested time from the payment to the shipment is not more than 2-3 weeks, in most cases less of two weeks. I am in the same situation with a custom figure comissioned to a member forum, two months and no pics of the progress. And I know a friend here who has waited 11 months and finally got nothing.
I think the key problem lies in wanting to take too many orders. Only do what you should actually give time to make a particular time and not have people waiting forever.
This is a reflection that I leave here in this thread, as it says, but also serve to all those members who happily offered to do customs and say yes to everybody without putting limits, and then when the time arrives, objetives aren´t met because they wanted to take many orders.
