I don't get why people who don't even have projects being done by Josh are popping in here to stir up **** like it's gonna make anything better?! Really?! It'd be really ****ing sorry if this thread had to be locked up and only opened when Josh wanted to update it. Aside from a few asshats, it's mainly civil, but those few make it almost unbearably annoying.

I feel sorry for everyone involved here. The folks who've been waiting a long time deserve their stuff, but it's obvious that Josh has lost all passion for this, and when it comes to making art (good art, anyway), passion is the key. It's a lose, lose situation. I just hope everything works out in the end. It's a shame to see a member who was once one of the driving creative forces on this board, and just a genuinely nice guy, driven into self exile. This board is poorer for his absence.

Ok. I'm going to chime in a bit here. Josh has been doing what he can as best he can.

Is it good enough for all? I guess not.

Is he the only one to lag so far back? I assure you the answer is no.

I had 3 customs. one by josh and another 2 by two other customizers.

I have received mine from Josh but not the other 2.

Am i upset? No. Cos, they're not Howes and its a matter of waiting.

I know waiting is horrible but in times like this its unavoidable.

I'll extend a credit line to Josh. Its not much but i want to back up my words with action.

This is not sympathy. Its my belief in the man, and i believe in him though we've hardly ever spoken.

Josh I'll send $300 your way (indefinite loan, you pay when you can even if its 10 years later) if you need it. Just pm me.


To the rest, i think the man has been flogged enough. give it a rest, its christmas after all.

Thanks guys. And Kevin, I'm very sorry that I haven't responded. I haven't checked my PM box, and when I do I often don't respond to everyone as quickly as I should.

I know that Ash was supposed to be done already. I've hit snag upon snag with that project, it's been a nightmare. The heads are casting without noses, or severe bubbles. The chainsaw is casting horribly as well. So it's really screwing up the whole set, I haven't been able to get it straightened out. I'm still trying to find a way around it, and should know something soon. When? I honestly cannot say.

Again, change your signature bud. We have a right for concern, but it's not like we don't believe in you. Trust me if that was the case I would be cursing you out, because I been ????ed before by someone in the past and I let them have it, but I knew I would never see the day. I acted hard, and I got results. My money and piece back... I hated doing it, but I was led with no alternative. I had a lot riding on that project. In your case you're different. Many know you as being honest, trusting, and caring, and yes you are completely over your head, but that hardly makes you a horrible person. Horrible at dealing with this, meh, maybe, but who cares. Just work on what you have and don't let the pass stress you, and don't bother answering to PMs. I know I hate looking at PMs when I am in trouble. So much stress. I can't get mad at you because I too suffer from "setbacks"... I am barely crawling myself out of this semester. Wish me luck, as I'll wish you luck on everything. We need it! That or a kick in the ass, but a good kick in the ass. Not one that leaves a bad imprint.

And don't rush my figures... why I am growing impatient (I can't lie), I also want the best from you, and if that means waiting, well, I have waited this long. Heck, I was supposed to paint my uncle's dog for him in the 90's. Last time I checked it's 2009. See... we all eff up!

Impatient Eli, but then I am always impatient when it comes to just about everything. Girls, movies, school, assignments, getting stuff from SideShow... and the list goes on... oh, reading the Mike's long rants...

Again, I have asked a concrete question:
Tell me when this will be finished & PM me some e-mail that you can read. You know me - I never sent you 1000 of e-mails or smth, I always was a calm & patient. I JUST NEED SOME UPDATES & word from you like "Hey Denis! Me again! I'm OK and your Jason's will be ready in *truly answer* + some actual progress photo's". That's all.
You said they are almost ready & it is only some work with eyes left. Please, just answer my question about how long should I wait duh) & provide some photo's.

I can't believe how this thread has lurched into a pit. Seriously, am i the only person concerned with the fact DA has mentioned mental breakdown and thoughts of suicide more than once? I don't hate Josh. I'm extremely jealous. Josh has the talent, the friends, and the knack of saying the right things to everyone that maintains those friends despite utilizing those talents to continue a poor and unfair business strategy which was first complained about years ago and yet those same friends have defended the excuse "art" and it has led to the problem still existing today.

Not for a second do I believe I'd receive that treatment...because I don't have talent and I don't sweet talk people. All I do is show up to work when I say I will and do my job when I say I will. I never would have accepted someone's money for a job I didn't know when I'd actually do it. To me, these responsibilities establish a reputation more than a number of friends do. But I'm a pre-facebook type of person.

Anyway, as I said my dog is no longer in this fight and I'll leave it to those that do for another 6 months and we'll see if this still persists.

Stay strong, Josh. None of the BS here is worth making your life a hell. This is your life. You've only got one, and feeling like crap over this stuff is not a good way to spend your time in my opinion. Work on it when you can, get stuff done, but don't stress over this if you can help it.

No. As I've said, this bickering is absolutely pointless, on all sides. Defending Josh only serves as pouring gasoline onto the flames of frustration, and telling Josh how he should handle his business isn't getting anywhere either.

The points are made, people waiting on stuff want to know where things are at, people loyal to Josh are standing by him.

Let's just end it now, let this thread get back to a normal state and move on.

If you have no "dog in this fight", then why come in here and say anything at all? Like I said before, you don't know me well enough to accuse me of using people, or of "sweet talking" them into doing anything. I'm not that kind of person. Being ex military, I know the core values... honor, courage, and commitment. I live by those values, and even though I let people down... I still am here trying to make it right.

I know my business model sucks, but that is why I abandoned it and am no longer taking orders. I don't know what else I can do.

Again, I'm not sweet talking anyone. I've offered refunds, I've offered everything I have...

I don't have a Myers figure, Part VIII Jason, Ash, or Roy on my shelf... because people are still waiting on theirs. My Indy PF has no head, because people are still waiting on theirs. Anything that someone is waiting on, I don't have one done for myself. So tell me again how selfish I am... go ahead. Tell me I don't care. Tell me I am a golden boy who pours honey into the ears of my followers. Call me whatever you want. I do what I can, I am honest about my situation. If that isn't enough for you, take your negativity somewhere else.

Dront, Sined... guys... I will get your stuff done. It's close. I'll post pics if you want. I can only do what I can when I can, I can't give a timetable because I don't honestly know when it will be done. I have several weeks off, so there is a good chance that it will be done by early January.

Your figures are very close, the jackets are done, heads 90% there, just need eyes. They just need dremel work, building and weathering. If you want them as is...

I'm really waiting them to be done in early january.
I won't ask you again until this time. I will wait for another month...
