Keep waiting for nothing or communicate WITH JOSH! Stay out of another people. I fully understand that Dront and Sined have no right to get their stuff first. Their stuff is very close to being completed, and won't take much work on my part... and primarily it will shut them up. I don't like doing it at all, but to continue listening to it for months will do nothing but piss me off and everyone else as well...

But after I am done with their stuff, I am doing the work in order from here on out. Oldest commissions first, at least those on my list for completion and not just mail backs.

And for those who say that I am just a whiner who pretends to have this crazy life, just to avoid my responsibilities. Screw you all. Yesterday... only ONE day in my life. I found out that my Aunt is waiting to die in a hospital in SC, and my Wife had another seizure at 6 am this morning. Oh... but screw all that "real life" stuff, I have crap to paint.

I understand Josh. Its just all the complaining about updates, when had people actually read this thread, they would have seen it is full of updates. Maybe not all the kind a person may have wanted to see or have but definitely updates that explain why things are as they are.
You are probably right. If you give them what they want perhaps they'll shut up and go away. I doubt it though as your update pic was already insufficient and they want your personal stuff instead of what they ordered.
Take care of your wife and family. That is paramount. THEY cannot be replaced, nor should they come second. I can only hope that when these complainers grow up, and if they are fortunate enough to settle down. marry and have a family, that they get to experience what you (and Les and I) have had to go through a hundred fold.
Then maybe we three can get together and drink to their misery. Though I doubt they'd have the courage to post it.

I do not want to see any name calling in this thread. if you guys are going to attack each other then do it somewhere else.

Please let's leave this thread for updates and questions for Josh. Anything else, is unnecessary and hostile remarks towards members will be deleted. Those comments are not helping this situation in the least bit.

Stay frosty my old friend. You're doing a great job, and I for one know your pains. Too well. But stay the course, as I have learned to do, and day by day, head by head, you get them done. It is worth it in the end to see the happy responses. Just keep that the focus of your work, and you'll get it done.

Nice work on those Ani's! I have one of those almost done myself. Cool stuff. Don't paint too many PFs as I don't even own one. Got an Indy PF in prog also. They are all VERY nice! Much easier to see too! LOL!

Anyway, just stay frosty and just keep delivering the goods!

Can't do my friend. Sorry to say it so bluntly, but I can't and will not make any more promises I cannot keep. You will get your stuff when I CAN get it to you. Whether that is a bag of parts, a Coke and a smile... a refund... or a completed figure... Well that depends on what I can do and what I can't do.

I know I'm late, and I have again and again told you WHY things are as they are. I honestly don't know what else to do. As far as money, I don't have the money to pay someone back for a lost figure that the damn mail service made disappear. And trust me, he will get the money FIRST. He deserves that at the very least.

I'm tired of dancing and jumping through hoops to try and make you or anyone else who is pissed off content and happy.

If anyone understands that, it's me. Here I sit, in my empty collection room.... heads and unfinished figures around me. Half empty bottles of paint, brushes broken and disheveled. My clothes are ratty, my shoes have holes in them. Bits of paper adorn the floor, scribbled notes long forgotten. Walls are damn near empty from sold art prints and paintings. Shelves lay empty and dusty, the imprints of figure stands still showing on them. My tires are bald, my car needs an oil change. My kitchen lightbulbs are burnt out....etc...

I don't have spare money to throw towards anything, least of all to refund people. And with no new orders coming in, it's even more impossible. So if you have to wait until the end of time for me to get my ____ing life straight before you get a refund, so be it.

You will get a bag with the parts, it's the least I can do. It's ALL I can do. You don't like it.... Sorry.

No problem Josh. Its one of those things do I want my stuff. Yeah, I do and would I liked to have had it a while back. Yeah, I would have but in the end I've got ____ happening in my own life thats a bit bigger than two figures. So I really haven't thought too much about them and figure they'll get here when they get here. Besides I'd rather you have them and get them done than send them back to me which I cant fix. Plus you got bigger fish to fry as well.

anyway, josh. answer when you can - i've been pretty patient. and while i'm not in the inner DA circle, i've shown support. but could you please just let me know the status of my repaints. that's all i want to know. can they be sent back (no refund needed)? if so, i can send the shipping cost RIGHT NOW via paypal. then you can use that money to send them back next time you're at the post office.

Except Anakin actually DID do it himself. It was a lust for power thing, a desire to make things happen the way HE decided them to.

I didn't do such a thing. I made bad decisions, yes. I didn't think. But it was never in a desire for power, fame, or money. The parts for each and every figure took up 90% of the money paid for them, leaving me with a very small commission fee. I never really made a killing on this stuff, like everyone assumes I did. I was flat broke for the duration, hence the sales. I never went out and bought Cinemaquettes, or any huge big ticket items out of commission sales. In fact, I SOLD stuff so that I could continue to buy items. Which are sadly now all gone.

So even if I could give a refund, it would not be a full one. The money was spent on the figure. The only thing I could ever refund would be the commission fee itself, which is $35-40. Yeah, $40 for hours upon hours of sweat, blood, and tears. But that was my own fault for be so damn generous, and it buried me in the grave I now type from. So in a way it is my fault, but not in the grandiose way you paint it.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it, Obi-A__Hole .:emperor

And don't worry 2000man, I didn't think you were rude at all. It is entirely understandable to ask for an update.

I know Dom, I hate continuing to leave you hanging like this. I am trying to come up with the money. If I don't have it by early Mar, I will pull funds from my financial aid money if I have to. I just haven't been fiscally able to refund that large a sum for some time now.

I still am very pissed at the post office I go to for losing the information and basically leaving me without anything to prove that I even mailed it in the first place. It's maddening.

I agree, and told him as much at Con. If Josh were to have charged more, sure he would have had less "customers" but that would have made for a more manageable list, and more profit in the long run.

It isn't about being right (and I know you know that ); you just weren't "dark" enough of a Dark Artist, being the nice guy is the ____s sometimes.

Don't forget Josh, when the Joker is done, send me a PayPal request for the shipping; I would hate to have something as minor as that slow things down.
