Josh, sorry to hear about the recent loss, must be going around my wife and I had the same thing happen last week. These things happen for a reason, and the best you can do is do as we have been doing. Start to move on, get her healthy and happy again and try again a few months down the road.

hey josh

hope things are getting better bro. Please shoot me a pm when you get a chance. Just want to know how along you are on the Lee Batman statue. Might ask you to send it back as is. Ill pay the shipping. Thanks bro!

Howdy, Sir! Just checking in to see if there's any updates available! I never heard back if you received the postage-paid box for the Remake Jason or what your thoughts may be on my offer to help out with some casting. Please drop a line when you find a free moment! Hope all's well!

- J

Once again, this thread is for productive and focused commentary regarding business with Josh, it's not a _____ing or slandering thread.

This thread is open and Josh remains a member here so that a line of communication can be maintained with him for those waiting on resolution of business with him. Banning does nothing but cut that off and is an non-productive course of action.

Josh, please address this thread as soon as you can.

Hi Josh,

Just checking back in to see if you have my mailing address and when you think you'll be able to return my figures. You agreed to just send them back, no work done & keep the money I paid for the work, but never confirmed my address or when you'd send them back. Can you please give me an update? As I've mentioned before I'm willing to eat the money I paid just to get the figures back. I think that's pretty fair and would appreciate if you could send them back as soon as possible. I'd really like to get out of your hair and never have to return back to this thread again.

Hi Josh hope everyhting is good with you.
Would like an update on the Jason fig i bought you via your for sale thread month ago and still didn't get it.
Please get back to me soon man.

I hope Josh is managing to get the backlog a little more under control , I'd love my Jasons and Myers in time for Halloween this year.

If anyone is in the US and is sick of waiting for a refund I understand that (and I was told this by someone from the US) that if you mailed Josh the cash/cheque and you can show that there was an agreement for Josh to send it to you by X date and can show that you have attempted to rectify that you can place a claim via the Postmaster General and then they make a Federal Claim and you can get your cash back from the Government.

Not sure how this works in practice but I understand that it IS an option for you US dwellers who sent stuff through the post.

That also takes the heat off of Josh in respect of your cash.

Malarkey. I don't know who told you this, but "heeeeeeeeeth lyiiiiiiiing." :lol

I'm writing this openly because Josh has requested we do so and because it's the only way to get any response from him.

Like the title of this thread, I'm at the end of the line as well--with my patience. I've given Josh more than his fair share of chances. I gave him the opportunity to keep his money, not do any work and send my figures back. He can't even do that, though he keeps saying he will.

We live, at most, 2 hours apart and it's 2 figures at issue. You can scrounge up enough money between your couch cushions to cover the shipping. It's inexcusable. If you can't cover the shipping let me know, don't use your promises as a way of blowing me off and buying time.

Those of you who keep defending Josh, come to realization as to what is transpiring. At one time Josh may have been a stand-up, trustworthy, guy, but at this point his actions speak much louder than his empty words. There is no defending this.

I realize I'm not the only one affected, but I also recognize the symptoms--excuse after excuse and empty promise after empty promise--are the same. That signals a big problem to me; nothing is being resolved.

One thing I've done this whole time is to be positive about the situation because I understand $h1t happens. I haven't posted any flames, haven't flipped out like some have, and I've been patient. My patience has come to an end.

So now I'm going to make a promise; a promise I will keep. I also encourage those of you who have been hopefully and patiently waiting, with nothing to show for it, to do so as well.

If my items aren't returned within 1 week of this post, I will file a claim with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (https://www.ic3.gov/). I'm sorry that it's come to this, but I just don't know what else to do.

I don't wish any bad karma to anyone, but I also won't be played for a fool. If you can't live up to your end of the bargain, at least live up to your word.

At this point, I am assuming that I will get nothing. It was supposed to take a couple months and has now been a year and a half. He's obviously burned out and has said that he won't be finishing things, as he is simply is not making any progress because of his personal issues. But I don't even suppose I will even be getting the parts that he already finished.

I'm not angry at a guy like Josh for that, though. His life has been hell, and I have nothing but sympathy for that. I have been fortunate to have things go pretty smoothly for me, personally *knock on wood* and am genuinely sad to read of all the crap this guy has gone through. I'm not gonna file some internet crime report or anything like that. He's got enough to deal with. But then, I haven't sent as many collectibles or as much money as some others.

It sucks, but lesson learned on my end. In the future, no matter what you pay for (including customs), if you don't get it in the Paypal dispute period (45 days), then file a dispute, hopefully get your money back if possible, and move on. Even people with good reputations and good intentions can have life throw them a curve ball. But of course, buyers have the right to try to protect themselves.
