Thanks for the comments guys... Yeah, the lighting kept coming up like that... so I kept trying new backgrounds. But no matter what I did, they came up yellow toned. I will try and take some nicer pics tomorrow, hopefully some of them will come out ok. If anything, soon I will be buying a better lamp so that should help out a lot.

Also to answer your question Xander, nothing done to the clothing, just good old fashioned "futzing". I did darken the leather bits on the belts and such, just to make it look more lived in and less new. Boromir being as he is, there was no need to do any heavy weathering.... which was nice.

Anyway, I did redo a few things on my Aragorn tonight, so I thought I would share that with you guys. Also a pic of the damn near finished Luke..

Thanks man! I think I found out what was causing the problem... my camera's lighting setting was off, so yeah... probably been the cause for a long long time.

Better pics tomorrow...

I really do love that Boromir though, probably my favorite LOTR figure right now. Very well done and I love the repaint.

Hmmm... you don't say? I seem to remember a post about this by some concerned board member... now who could it have been?

Quick question are you using any tungsten correction for your pictures... some of the shots are a bit yellow which is usually due to lightbulbs. You can get rid of it by changing the setting on your camera (if it has it) or of course getting non-tungsten bulbs.

trust me guys, and no offense josh...the pictures just doesn't do him justice. All his stuff looks 1000x better and detailed on hand... I try my best to capture the coolness..

Great stuff! Really like the Clone Wars Anakin. Very neat idea!!! And the Tom Hanks is outstanding! Who's the one with the bandana? Looks like Solid Snake or even Ryu from Street Fighter.

Thanks Xander... Yeah, the bandana guy is Solid Snake. The tank top headless guy is a John McClane in the works, Captain Miller, H2 Terminator, TPM Obi, Hicks, Evil Obi, John McClane, Anakin, Bruce Willis, Snake and Apone. :chew

I love your in progress shots! Especially the head count shots. It reminds of watching the doughnuts being made at Krispy Kreme back when I could eat gluten... ah, yummy, yummy gluten.

When you feel like investing in yourself, a better camera with a macro and a Dremel, my friend.

Is that anyone's Obi by any chance?

Thanks man... Unfortunately that is another's Obi. I STILL have not gotten yours from Daniel. He said he was going to be shipping yours and Abstract's out to me and I haven't heard a thing since, no update or anything. I don't know what is going on. I hope he gets it straight soon though, it's been a loooong time and I still haven't gotten anything.

And I WILL be soon getting a Dremel, no new camera yet... but at least a Dremel.

Nope... close, but still got some skin detail, eyes and final hair detail before it's finished. Only then will it be done.

And you can bet pics will be EVERYWHERE when that day comes...

Unfortunately no, the only one I have ever had was the one I bought for my Hicks. I've painted a buttload of them, but only ever had the one. I'll keep an eye out for one though, I think I might be able to find you one....

To answer the question about the Stoner head, there is a seller on ebay who goes by the name yoshiishi who seems to sell these alot. I bought one for about 10 shipped. The price went up each time this guy sold one. I haven't seen him sell any lately, but you never know.

BTW Josh, you seem to get better with each repaint you post. Great work.
