Darren, I'm fine with whatever avenue you explore on the neck, but there is a workable way around it. It's a tip from Louie Tran, the founder of Triad, and I've used it twice now, and it's made me junk an earlier method I'd concocted using a little rubber cup gasket.

It's to squirt a little bathtub silicone caulk (the tube variety) into the head cavity, place it over the neck post, and leave it to cure for a few days. The head can both rotate and tip up and down. Louie says it'll actually pop off and back on, but so far I've seen no reason to experiment with that.

I've been thinking a little molding silicon would do the same thing and cure faster. I may try it.

that sounds like a good trick Gruff.... i might try it, of only to see if the heads will pop off, and more importantly, on. If it's a one-off "you make the head and put it on the body" thing... then it won't do for people who I have to make multiple heads for, but I don't have their bodies

but, if you can do this, and it is indeed removable and replaceable... then that is a neat trick! Thanks for the tip.

Here's a future Reese I just sent away about an hour ago. Annoyingly the pics don't really show the weathering on the clothes too well, maybe you can see it a little bit though. And the face... some of the pics are a bit too dark, and some a bit too light. And none of them seem to have the right warmth of skin.... but I only noticed this after I'd shipped the figure. Ah well... it gives you a rough idea anyway

That Reese is fantastic. Really amazing work. The detail of your paint apps always blow me away. Amazing attention to detail.

Now I may have missed it, but is this a re-sculpt or just re-paint? Either way, it's great -- really feels like Reese.

Reese is just a repaint, no sculpting needed really. Of course If i was going for a totally accurate Michael Biehn, then most of the face would need resculpting... but as it is? It looks pretty damn good with a good repaint
